Ended up purchasing 2013 Jeep Wrangler in November 2013. Charlie was helpful in the process and I had no issues until delivery. I had mentioned during first visit that the interior of the roof was dirty and was told it would be cleaned inside and out. When I took delivery, inside of roof was in exact same shape as last visit. When I got home , I realized there was no owner's manual or slush mats (which were listed on the sticker). The manual was mailed to me. During the financing process on the day of delivery, I was "sold" an extended warranty by BQ under the premise that payments would be the same but the interest rate would be lower. When presented with the paperwork an additional $3000 was added for extended warranty. I said I didn't want it and was told I could cancel it. I also asked for the detail of what made up the sales price as it was not the agreed upon number. He said there was an amount in that figure as well for the warranty Filled out the cancellation paperwork the next week and faxed to BQ in finance. He said it might take a month or two before I saw the reduction on the finance papers. Once I receive my third payment statement, I emailed both BQ and my salesman and got no response. I phoned the dealership today 2/26/13 and was told BQ is no longer with the company. I was told someone would get back to me but as yet have not received a call. Hopefully, I will have a positive update once this gets straightened out. 3/21/14 Nothing positive to report here. Have gotten the runaround for two more weeks now to the point where I have not received any acknowledgement of my emails for the last weeks. Danielle called me a few weeks back to let me know nothing had been done by BQ with my cancellation paperwork! She said she sent it in but it would take 3-4 more weeks. I emailed her with some follow up questions and got no response. Sent again a week later and got "been out of the office for a week and a half" but would get back to me. Sent three or four more follow ups with absolutely no response as of today. No idea why this would become such a big project but obviously don't have a very good feeling about it. I live out of state so stopping in is an inconvenience but seems like it might be the only way to get some resolution. 5/15/14 : THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD BUYING A CAR. SIX MONTHS to get this straightened out , to include checks from Atlantic bouncing when deposited, checks from Atlantic mailed to the incorrect finance company address, no responses etc. I can go on and on. They'll call you seven days a week to get you to buy but after that, forget it! They're your best friend until you buy and then good luck getting someone to talk to you! Their stock answer is "The accounting Dept. is in another building" I still have about a $1000-$1500 discrepancy in the price on the paperworkand the price I was charged but at this point I certainly hold out zero hope of getting that resolved. I emailed the paperwork numerous times but no one addressed it. Took forever to get the refund on the warranty so can only imagine trying again. Salesman washed his hands to the matter, never heard from him during this whole ordeal. Needless to say, would not do business here if they were the last dealer around. If you choose to, DON'T BITE ON THE GREAT SAVINGS OF THE EXTENDED SERVICE CONTRACT THEY'll PITCH YOU. THEY'LL TELL YOU IT'S REFUNDABLE, BUT I'LL TELL YOU , GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. More
our first contact was on atlantic's website,which was user friendly, their advertised prices were lower than all others, upon arrival we were immediately assigned a salesperson...Steve Marinaro's demeano user friendly, their advertised prices were lower than all others, upon arrival we were immediately assigned a salesperson...Steve Marinaro's demeanor relieved us of any anxious feelings, we made clear, that we were serious buyers, wanted a no frills, new 2014 jeep, within a particular price range, and were leaving the dealership with a new jeep...within ten minutes, we were shown, on paper, a jeep patriot, well within our price range...the balance of our visit was spent with John Murphy, he handled all the financing, forms, applications, etc....we were given several options for financing, with no pressure and plenty of information...this also was stress free,with no complications...upon completion of our purchase, atlantic could not deliver the vehicle the same day...so steve said "a deal is a deal"...again within ten minutes, steve shows up with keys to a loaner vehicle, that i can use to get back and forth to work until the new jeep can be delivered...this by far, is the best, most positive experience, in my 50+ years on this planet...Atlantic CJDR is now the new poster boy for the term "GOING THE EXTRA MILE"...oh...and to make it even better...the one request i had...they delivered a black on black, Jeep Patriot, thank you steve, john, and management at Atlantic CJDR...best regards...Bill McConnell More
This dealership has gone above and beyond my expectations. We were car shopping for a while and couldn't get a good deal so we tried Atlantic in west islip. At first we got a rate we weren't happy with and we tried to get a co-signer when that didn't work we went back to talk with jay Lopez who was our salesman. He was very hungry for the deal and got us a rate we could not pass up. All the other dealerships never even gave us phone calls back. Charles was very helpful and informed us of every step of the way. Overall I would recommend this dealer to anyone honest and hard working people over there! A+ More
I have been buying cars for 40 years. This has been a greatest experience of all times. Stacy, our Saleswoman was just wonderful and even brought us Tea. Anthony Macca did such a wonderful Job! Very bad experience. Went in to buy a jeep and it ended in a horrible experience, very unorganized, horrible way to try and be about the customers. I went into the dealership last Monday looking to test drive the 2014 jeep grand Cherokee limited. He was able to get me the price I wanted so I put a deposit on it as I wanted to think about it a bit more. After visiting another dealership that I was not impressed with, I returned to Jason with my trade in to be appraised. They were able to give me what I wanted on my trade-in. They did not have the color jeep I wanted in stock so Jason and his team found one close by to be delivered on Friday. I picked it up when it came in and I absolutely love it. Jason was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and made my purchase simple and pain free. I will definitely recommend him to friends and family looking to purchase a new vehicle. More
