We had a great experience working with Emily Waldman! Buying a new car can be stressful, but Emily made the process stress-free. She made it easy to get the car we wanted and it was all done with a smile Buying a new car can be stressful, but Emily made the process stress-free. She made it easy to get the car we wanted and it was all done with a smile. Emily is very personable and we enjoyed talking to her while we waited for all of the paperwork to be finalized. Walking into the finance department is never enjoyable, however working with Tony Ferrara made the experience a positive one. Such a nice guy and very professional. Finally, we also have to shoutout Shameiqua Pittman. We have purchased or leased three Jeeps with her assistance, and we pleased to see that she has been promoted to management. She also assisted in this purchase, and it is always a pleasure to deal with her. Our experience with Empire Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of West Islip has always been a positive one, so that is why we keep coming back. We will certainly refer Emily, Tony and Shameiqua to all of our friends! More

I went there to purchase a Jeep wrangler they had listed on line for $16749 I met with a salesman called Vinson he told me that the price was non negotiable and that I needed to finance to take advantage of on line for $16749 I met with a salesman called Vinson he told me that the price was non negotiable and that I needed to finance to take advantage of the price so I drove the Jeep liked it and put a deposit on it after putting the deposit on it I was told by Vinson that I could not take the vehicle home because it had not been inspected by the shop so I agree to pick up the car the following week so a week later i called Vinson and asked him if it was ready he told me yes come down you are approved to my surprise the Jeep had not been touched by the service department he gave me all sorts of excuses and explained that he could not deliver the vehicle that I needed to wait a few days I became suspicious and asked to see the financing terms to my surprise the price of the truck had been raised to $22500 his explanation to me was that the bank charged me a bank fee for my credit being a bit challenged this people have a slogan that says EMPIRE WHERE YOU ARE TREATED LIKE ROYALTY it should say empire we’re you are treated like royalty if you have good credit. To end this I cancel the deal I asked for my deposit back and not one manager or any of the upper staff came out to apologize stay away and take your business elsewhere More
On a Thursday evening I looked at a used car at Empire. Car seemed good so I decided to buy it. By the time we made the deal they were just about to close so I was going to have to pick it up the next day, Car seemed good so I decided to buy it. By the time we made the deal they were just about to close so I was going to have to pick it up the next day, which was fine and understandable. He did have me fill out the finance application to “speed up the process.” I was told come at around 12-1230 on Friday. I don’t have a car so I needed to have someone drive me. At 11:45 my salesman called and said there was an issue with the radio and that they could not give it to me yet and that this point I was 1 minute away. So, I had someone drive me just to find out 15 minutes before my appointment that it wasn’t ready. Ok no big deal, but still strike 1. I was told I could come back later that evening but I wasn’t available so I opted to come back on Saturday. I thought, good that means it will be ready as soon as I come tomorrow. On Saturday I decided to wait until they called me to go pick it up just in case they weren’t ready yet. Salesman called so I had my ride travel an hour to get me then another hour to the dealer with me. When we got there, I was told they were going to just give me a credit for a new radio instead of replacing the stock radio, which they did. So the radio issue was taken care of I assumed I would get my car and go home, but I was wrong. After asking why this is taking so long I was told that the service department was busy and that is why I had to wait. I asked why and each time the salesman answered by telling me, I’ll go see what’s taking so long. That was the answer each time I asked. To which he would go to the back and then disappear, strike 2 because I don’t like being lied to. We invested so much time in this so I decided to wait. Finally, there it was out of the shop. It’s finally time, but no actually it wasn’t. I was told that in order for the banks to finance my purchase, there needed to be a pre-delivery inspection where sensors were put on the car so that the bank can see the results and determine whether this was a good enough used car to finance. I didn’t want to finance but it was a requirement for me to get the internet price. The inspection was why the busy service department was affecting me taking the car home. I don’t know if that is true or not, but what I do know is that when the car returned, I saw the tech say xxxx and take it out again. So, I’m assuming it failed. If the car was supposed to be ready on Friday why are they only doing this stuff now? This should have been taken care of the previous day like they promised but it seemed like they would only start the process when I was sitting there waiting for it. I have no clue why but the only conclusion I could come to was that they cared very little for their customers and their customers’ time. They did what was best for them and didn’t care that I had to wait over 3 hours for a car that was supposed to be ready the day before that I was still waiting for. In total I went to the dealer 3 times. Having to come back the first time was understandable but the second was not. Having to wait over 3 hours and still not getting the car was unacceptable and total blatant disrespect for me and my family. Lying about the issue with the car was also unacceptable. Not caring for my time also unacceptable. Strike 3 and now you are out. I cancelled the order at that point and I was expecting management or someone to come out and maybe give an explanation or help move the process along, something, but no one came. This was even more proof that I didn’t matter to the dealership “where YOU are treated like royalty.” (taken right from their website). I was actually treated like a peasant. When my salesman went to deliver my refund request to management (which I still haven’t received), I stood near him just to see if they would react at all, but they were too busy gossiping to actually care. I dodged a bullet with this one. More
