Upon arriving and pulling my car into the service department driveway, I was greeted by two gentleman. I did not get their names but did explain that my rear passenger door had been jammed two days p department driveway, I was greeted by two gentleman. I did not get their names but did explain that my rear passenger door had been jammed two days prior and wasn't closing. I reiterated this because it wobbled when driving and had to tie it secure with rope. The service attendant said okay and told me to tell the service agent the same thing. I went inside and sat down in the customer lounge to wait to be called to an office. A woman called my name ( cannot recall her name) and I went into her office. I explained the issue that brought me in and she said that I'd have to speak with Evelyn, who was the person who helped me previously. I went back into the lounge and shortly after, Evelyn called me into her office. I explained the issue to her, for the third time that day and she typed into her computer. She told me to head back to the lounge and she would have the mechanics take a look at the issue. I had been at the dealership for about 37 minutes when a (I could only assume) mechanic came into the lounge and called my name. He walked me to the door that led to where they repaired the cars and wanted to ask me what the problem with the car was. I told him again and then noticed the door that had the issue was closed. I walked to my car's door and a bald man (service manager) met me and the mechanic there. He asked what the issue was and again I repeated the issue when the service manager said there was nothing wrong. I said yes. .y car has been here for over half an hour and I already told several people the issue. He said, "well it's closed". I looked at him and said I can see that. I opened my door and the latch that had been jammed was broken, not fixed. When I told him this, he said it was like that. I repeated that it was not broken but jammed and he kept repeating that there was nothing wrong with it when I brought it in. At this point, I am livid and felt disrespected. He attempted to diminish what I knew qnd what the car looked like previous to bringing it into the shop. Evelyn, who has to be the worst person to interact with, comes out of the door and I tell her they broke the door and to just let my car out. I was done. I waited a few minutes and snatched my keys and paperwork from Evelyn's hands. I have never in my 31 years of living on this planet have I ever raised my voice, belittled or disrespected anyone in the service industry and to be gaslit and spoken to as if I'm an idiot was the nail in the coffin on this review. I review anything and anywhere and it's usually compliments but this, by far, is the worst service department. The first woman who helped me was an absolute angel. She was the saving grace of that day. But the service manager and Evelyn could take a cue on how to handle people. Utterly disgusting. More
