An excellent experience purchasing a new vechicle. If I was to open a car dealership one of my first hires would be Alex Hernandez as my sales manager and trainer for new sales people. Alex and I If I was to open a car dealership one of my first hires would be Alex Hernandez as my sales manager and trainer for new sales people. Alex and I in twenty minutes determined the price for my new Ford F150. He was able to answer any questions about the buying experience before I visited EVS. Delivery of my new vehicle was also outstanding. The vehicle was ready and Alex knew every electronic detail and statistic and could explain them for both me and my wife. Needless to say Alex is very knowledgeable not only about Ford products, but the completion as well. More

In June of 2015 EVS Random Lake sold me a 2006 Buick Lucerne. After less than 30 days I had issues with the cars handling/suspension and it was running extremely hot. I contacted EVS in Random Lake and they told me to bring it in. After the General Manager Steve Meinshock sat down with my wife and I he explained the 2006 Buick was sitting for quite a while and it appeared to have "lot rot", he wanted to make things right. Steve agreed to replace the rotors and front driver side tie rod free of charge. My wife and I agreed this is the least the dealership could do since they pretty much sold us a ticking time bomb! Fast forward to December of 2015. Not even 6 months after purchasing the 2006 Buick we started to have more problems with handling/suspension and the car smelled like it was burning oil and antifreeze. We go back to EVS Random Lake and talk to General Manager Steve Meinshock again. I stated I was not happy with the purchase and we would like to trade the car in for something safer and with better fuel economy. After test driving a few different cars my wife and I agreed on a 2013 Ford C-Max. Steve and the finance guy Evert explained they needed to run some numbers and would contact us the next day when they came up with the price/payment we were looking for. The next morning I receive a call from EVS Random Lake and they said everything was good. AWESOME!!! Then when I arrive to fill out the paperwork and pickup the 2013 Ford C-Max they explain they submitted the financial paperwork to the wrong bank/financial institution and that my wife and I were not approved because Evert failed to notify the bank/financial institution that 2013 Ford C-Max was part of the Ford buy back program. EVS of Random Lake also did not tell my wife or I that 2013 Ford C-Max was part of the Ford buy back program. Long story short they knowingly sold us a piece of junk lot rotted 2006 Buick, then when they had a chance to keep a customer and make things right they pretty much said we can't help you, sorry! The incompetence of the financial department (Evert) and of the General Manger (Steve) guarantees I will NOT be buying any more vehicles from EVS of Random Lake! I hope this review makes people think twice before going to EVS in Random Lake! DON'T SAY I DIDN"T WARN YOU! More
Check Vehicle Completey Very Bad Salesman I recently bought a 2014 Ford Expedition EL from EVS. My salesman was Steve Larkin who didn't know the vehicle any near as well as he said he did. I I recently bought a 2014 Ford Expedition EL from EVS. My salesman was Steve Larkin who didn't know the vehicle any near as well as he said he did. I was told the truck had new tires, and if you are like me you would assume that meant all 4 not 3. I was told the other one was within specs so they left that one on. I have never even heard of such a thing even from small used dealerships much less from a new dealership. The window had a bunch of scratches in it that were very deep and will have to be replaced. The salesman didn't know how to work anything on the vehicle and couldn't even bother to set the correct time on the clock. The truck is overall a nice ride but was not what was described and the service with Steve (Chops) Larkin was pathetic. I have bought over 20 vehicles in my life and this was the worst buying experience I have had. More
Great New Car buying experience Worked with Jon DeMaster. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He gave us a complete tour and explanation of our new Ford Escape. His knowledge Worked with Jon DeMaster. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He gave us a complete tour and explanation of our new Ford Escape. His knowledge and the ability to drive several different cars help us thru the difficult decision on which car model to buy. Evert also did a great job of leading us thru the mountain of required paper work. More
Hassle Free! I was in a bind, my car broke down the week prior, I had a certain budget but still wanted something really reliable because I do have a family. The e I was in a bind, my car broke down the week prior, I had a certain budget but still wanted something really reliable because I do have a family. The entire process was quick, easy and most importantly painless! I felt like I great communication with the salesman rather than being sold something just to buy from the dealership. Would definitely recommend to anyone! More

Would you buy a car from these guys? I would not, find another dealer and get everything in writing. More

Jon De Master assured us that the 2007 Ford Escape we chose was a solid & thoroughly tested vehicle. He guaranteed us a positive 5 years without major issues. We trusted him. Our faith in your dealership & sales reps was high after we purchased, gladly sharing to others that EvS Random Lake was the place to shop for your next vehicle. Unfortunately, after 5 days of it being driven, everything shutdown, leaving our daughter stranded & afraid. We had her battery jumped, recharged, only for it to happen again. We learned the alternator was shot and in need of a new one. Over a $1000 repair bill. We called our trusted Sales Rep, Jon De Master, letting him know if this unfortunate incident. He never even had the decency to return our call. More disappointment came when we learned that EvS Random Lake should have detected this upon running a diagnostic. A pleasant & positive experience, had now turned extremely negative and future trust lost. When a vehicle is purchased with $10,000 cash, and to put a lot of extra money into it a week later is beyond disappointing. We will be sure to spread the word. More

Most Pleasant Experience Being a senior citizen, female, shopping by myself and on a limited budget I was not looking forward to the process of looking for a different car. I Being a senior citizen, female, shopping by myself and on a limited budget I was not looking forward to the process of looking for a different car. I started out looking for a used one but saw on the EVS in Random Lake website a new 2015 Ford Escape for a very fair price. Took it for a ride with my salesman Alex Hernandez who was very pleasant, helpful and patient with answering my questions. I told Alex I loved the car but wished it was charcoal gray instead of black but I would take it anyway. He said, " Well let me see if I can find the same car in gray at another dealership". He did, and it was delivered in a few hours. I was so impressed that he took the extra step to get me exactly what I wanted when I already said I would take the black one. Thanks to Alex and all the staff at EVS getting my new car turned out to be a most pleasant experience. More
Amazing Service! My boyfriend and I initially went to the Ford dealership to look at a 2006 Impala. We ended walking out a few days later with a 2015 Ford Focus. Rob w My boyfriend and I initially went to the Ford dealership to look at a 2006 Impala. We ended walking out a few days later with a 2015 Ford Focus. Rob was the guy that helped us through the whole process. He had beyond amazing customer service, you could tell he really cared. Not that he sold a car to us but that we were happy with what we were getting. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone, especially people with no credit like my boyfriend and I. More
