I asked when the car will be ready, he said more than likely 6 to 8 weeks Next thing you know their GM Tom Pospisil sells it to somebody else. He even skipped the person 2nd, 3rd ,4th …etc in line and sold it to somebody who wasn’t even on the list They basically called me and said sorry we sold it to somebody else I asked how can this happen and was told by my salesmen and sales manager that “We don’t know none of us know except TOM POSPISIL Hmm? Awfully suspicion Hmm? Tommy?? “To bad so sad Ken” The guy that got it must’ve dropped some serious money to steal my spot. How much did you pocket on your side hustle … baby...?? You get some serious dough ?? We bought three cars from them, and they used to be honest The salesman I was dealing with called me n was furious with the GM Tom. He told me he was going to quit n would write me a letter telling how Tom threw him under the bus. Pretty sure you didn’t pick that up during your time with the seminary When I spoke to Tom the GM he blamed the salesman. So, this Tom Posilil did indeed thru his own salesman under the bus. You’re a “great guy Tommy “ I’ve been waiting for over 3 yrs for my dream car and Tom cheated me of my dream car I was promised the Corvette at MSRP. Tom and I’m 200 % sure flipped my spot for a huge $$$ I spoke to Tom and 2nd time, and he was like “Ken I’m honest I was with the seminary” …. Well that explains a lot of Ok great Tom well that makes you honest!!? My apologies Seminarian Tommy My Zr1 was not ordained wonder if my Zr1 can ever become ordained Deacon Z and Deacon Tommy …. Hmm? has a nice ring to it I will be filing a complaint with Chevy for this unethical behavior. If anyone else has had issues with Eriksen Chevy in Milan IL or Tom Posilil reach out to me. I want to pursue this as far as I can. If you were cheated by them, I’m happy to cover legal fees (depending on how you were affected. My attorneys at their discretion can determine if your situation warrants our help) Our goal to bring awareness of some of these shady unethical dealerships and to protect the consumers. The silverado broke down after 5,000 miles which is a little ridiculous already. Took it to Eriksen and it sat there for a week while I drove this moving billboard for their dealership to add insult to i little ridiculous already. I’m also 6’8” and if I wanted to be uncomfortable, I would have bought an equinox but I didn’t. The bed cover was damaged when I came back to get the truck. First they tried to gaslight me asking are you sure it wasn’t like that when you came in with a smug attitude. I was positive it was not. This cover has seen rain, snow and a lot of it and hasn’t had any damage until it was in their possession. The service manager finally made his way out to discuss it after about 15 minutes and immediately said, “Carmen didn’t call you?” Admitting they knew the cover was damaged. There was no call and pretended they didn’t know. Then the service manager said that it rained and it damaged the cover and said maybe it was installed incorrectly. I decided it was what it was to avoid dealing with the incompetence anymore and left the dealership. Picked up my children and on the way home, the errors below popped back up and the truck would barely accelerate. I went back to the dealership immediately and drove into the service garage and told them that they did not repair the truck and I need the loaner back since I’m stranded with my children. I then had to wait another 30 minutes for them to bring the loaner back up. I’m assuming they were upset at my reaction to their incompetence. I did ask the service guy if I would be held responsible for damage to the loaner while it’s in my possession and he shrugged and said it depends. If I could give them a lower review both for Chevrolet and Eriksen’s, I absolutely would. Smug, condescending service people, customer satisfaction is definitely lacking in every sense. I would recommend going to Green if you even take the risk with a Chevrolet. More
I had a great experience buying my new electric blazer. My salesperson was very patient and kind to my kids who are special needs, which ment the world to me! They seem friendly and courteous, however, pricing was a bit high. The computer even listed their vehicle at $3404 over the national avg of similar cars same age and miles. As always I had wonderful customer service even tho delivery of car was delayed. It was worth the wait. I purchased a new Silverado in 2021 from this dealer. In December 2021 it lost power steering. I was stranded in airport parking lot and had to tow it home. The service department insisted I was responsible for getting the truck to their business. After having it for 3 weeks they informed me the problem was a chip that they would have to order and wait for the pandemic problems to shipment and chip shortage to get it. The problem only showed up when the temperature was below 20°. So they assured me I could drive the truck safely when the truck worked. Winter ended and ii continued to drive the truck, waiting for the part to come in to Erickson service dept. In July of this year '22 I was traveling cross country when outside Topeka Kansas going 70mph the steering went completely out and power was gone. Luckily I was able to get the truck to the dealership of Cable Dahmer of Topeka. These guys got my truck in the next day, found the problem (not a chip) and ordered the parts immediately. The parts came in one day. The crew at Cable Dahmer prioritized my work knowing I was on the road traveling. I have to tell you that amazed me as they were super busy with lots of folks ahead of me. They were super. All I can think of is how the Erickson people put me off, lied about the problem, laid blame on other businesses for Erickson Chevrolet's horrible service. Erickson failed me when I needed them most. I was basically without a vehicle for the whole winter. I feel I was also cheated out of that time of warranty. Next time I buy a vehicle it will not be from Erickson Chevrolet in Milan Illinois More
Worst experience at a car lot, ever! The salesperson, Jeff Wurslin, sent me on a test drive in a vehicle with an empty gas tank.
