Need to have better system to let owners know car is ready, even though it said on the service ticket that I was in the building the whole time. More
Had appointment for 8:30 am today on July 5th . No one even look it at my car , never heard update from them , drop off on time and went back at 4pm they never look to do any service. We deal mostly with Bill and Kathy, both of whom know their stuff. We've never had a mechanical problem with any of the three Subarus we've owned over the years. More

If you want your car back in a timely manner, wait there! I dropped my car off in the morning for service. The service was expected to take "a couple hours," so I took a loaner. 5 year olds don't fare well in I dropped my car off in the morning for service. The service was expected to take "a couple hours," so I took a loaner. 5 year olds don't fare well in waiting areas for that long. That "couple hours" turned into TWO DAYS, and it still wasn't done. Because of the weekend, I was without my car for 5 days. Come Monday morning, I agreed to have them complete the laundry list of work I was told I needed (it was all legit). Got the call Tuesday that my car was done. Thankfully I checked over the bill before paying - they tried to charge me for my FREE state inspection. Got that fixed, paid, then head out to my car with my 5yo and his car seat... To find my car wedged tightly between two other cars, covered in tree crud, on a side road incline with a lip - not even on their property. My experiences with the service department several years ago were all good, but this time... I'll go down to the Budd Lake dealership for service from now on. At least the service people were nice. One went out of his way to get my car back out of the bay for me to fetch supplies from my car for an event I was holding that weekend (I had assumed my car wouldn't be stuck there past the first day). Conclusion: The people are nice, service is fairly priced and completed by trained techs, but don't go if you expect your car back in a reasonable amount of time. Yes, I had a loaner, but that's no excuse. Also, make sure you check your invoice BEFORE paying. More
