My beloved Cobalt! My godmother had a specific set of guidelines to get me a car. It had to be 07 or newer, good milage, good on gas, no SUVs. And my budget was $3500. Jay had an 09 Chevy Cobalt LS and I fell in love, we did a test drive and everything, I wanted to say yes right then and there <3 well since it was a little out of price range we looked around at a bunch if other "dealerships", *making long story short* I was snubbed, I was ignored, I was offered another cobalt at a higher price than what Jay was asking, and it was rusted and rotted in a few spots, when I told the guy, I can go back to Ertle and get the same car but in better shape and less milage for cheaper. He literally said "then do it" and anyone who knows my godmother knows that if you say it, she will do it. She said "I'm tired of being d*cked around by these ratty places. Your people are rude and quite honestly the guy at Ertle was alot nicer" and we left. We went right back to Ertle and bought that cobalt! I named her Maleficent. She was a fantastic car. I'd still have her today if my husband wasnt hit by another driver and totaled my Mal. Thankfully my husband lived, I now need a new car and you know who exactly I called as soon as it happened......... Jay , you gave me a car that not only was good and reliable but one that also saved my husbands life and kept him safe, Thank you <3 I am confident that we will find my next life saver in the next week <3 Thank you so much I loved my cobalt and she loved us. Thank you, I cant stop thanking you. More

Hoping you can learn from my experience! I know I read reviews a lot before I shop for anything, so hopefully the info I learned buying at Ertle will help some of you guys out there consideri I know I read reviews a lot before I shop for anything, so hopefully the info I learned buying at Ertle will help some of you guys out there considering buying. 1. They offered $5500 for my trade in. We agreed to $7000 and the car was listed the next day on their site for $11900. Just be aware that that is how they're running finances so you can be informed. They gave me some line about how they could only give me $5500 for my trade in because blah blah but were planning to double their money so don't deviate from at least your Kelley Blue Book value, maybe go for more. It's clear I should have negotiated down further on my purchase - if you're looking at a car in the $10-15k range definitely ask for at least $2000 off. It seems to be what they're planning for. 2. We came in with financing from our credit union at 2.5% (the credit union turned out to be a huge hassle but that's another story!). Because we couldn't finalize that day and I don't live in the area, Ertle wrote up a back up contract in case ours didn't come through. In order to do this they ran our credit through all three credit agencies for 5 banks (they say four, our bank said there were 5). My husbands credit was downgraded from Very Good to Good as a result. When I asked Nick in financing why they had to run it so many times for a placeholder contract he said they were trying to match 2.5%, but ultimately offered 8%. I believe they were messing with us because we didn't use their financing, but if Nick is telling the truth then be aware that the best rate they have available is 8% (and my credit score was 780, my husband was over 700). Either way, sort your financing out before you come in because they are going to take you to town. 3. Don't buy anything but a Subaru here. I bought a Prius and they don't know anything about it - it was listed as a Prius 5 (high end trim) but clearly isn't. Wayne (nice enough guy) didn't know how to tell the difference, couldn't offer me any replacement mats or accessories or info. I thought you could buy any car anywhere, but these guys don't seem to know much outside of Subarus. I didn't have a great experience at Ertle but hopefully with this info you can have a better shopping experience. Good luck! More
