Requested a Voltec capacity test for my 2019 volt. The range has decreased significantly, and I wanted to check the Voltec battery while under warranty. I was offered an appointment for 11:00 AM on a Saturday. I asked how long the capacity test would take, and the advisor explained that a capacity test would take approximately four hours. She also explained that I would probably need to return on the next business day to pick up the car. This all worked, so I set up the appointment. I arrived at 10:45 AM on Friday. When I checked the car in, the service advisor asked me if it was the 12V battery or the Voltec that was problematic. I reiterated that it was the Voltec battery and asked if it would be ready this afternoon or next business day. The service advisor cautioned me that the EV tech was very busy, and it could be even two business days. This surprised me, as I had an appointment. This was a long weekend, so I checked the app Tuesday morning, and I noticed that my car had not been evaluated. In fact, it wasn't even inspected until sometime after 10:00 AM on Tuesday. Again, why set up a diagnostic appointment time if you don't intend to keep it? At 1:21 Tuesday afternoon, I received a text indicating that the car wasn't "throwing any codes." I asked if they had run the capacity test. When I didn't receive a response, I requested the capacity test report. No reply. I eventually spoke with the service advisor, who seemed unsure about why I was bringing the car in. It appeared to me that they had never run a capacity test on the car. I reminded him about the four-hour quote when the appointment was scheduled due to a Voltec test. I also reminded him that himself asked me if it were the 12V or Voltec battery. I reiterated that I needed an evaluation of the Voltec battery. He agreed (again). The next morning, I received a video recording of someone hold a cell-phone camera to a screen showing me the voltages of some of the cells of the battery. I never did receive a report; I infer that the cell-phone video represented the report that I requested. I drove down and picked up my car without incident that morning. I purchased my car at Estero Bay Chevrolet in 2019. I pass two GM dealers to have my car serviced there, even though I live in Cape Coral and the dealership is in Estero. This time was very different. The dealership has been sold to a new owner, and I am questioning whether this was a one-off negative experience or the new normal. I can't speak to that, but I won't be driving to this dealership for service from Cape Coral any longer. Heck, I don't know if I would drive to it if I lived in Estero. More

Did a great job repairing my vehicle, service was very pleasbut it was there for two days without any updates until it was ready. Would be nice to get an update each day it’s there. The last 3 visits, including this one, the communicating and service has been awful. After the last visit I said I would not go back, but I figured 1 more try. Of course, same thing. I called numerous times to set up an appointment, no one answered telephone so I made appointment online. I get there today any they tell me no tech to diagnose the engineer trouble light. What a surprise. They want to keep the trick for multiple days to diagnose it. What am I suppose to do for transport to and from work for unknown timeframe. No customer friendly. More
