â—¦My Dealership participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us. We train weekly on all aspects of customer service in every department. We work with our employees on doing there best to make sure every custmer has a great experince here at Michaels. Every day we have to explian the complex paper work that is required by the state of WA to complete the transaction on a sale. It is not as easy as people think and is time comsuming. We are always looking for ways to improve that as well as our customer service. Thanks Michael's Chevrolet Managment

I would like to thank you first off for letting us know about how your experience was while visiting Michael’s Chevrolet. My name is Kyle Sorenson, I am the internet manager. I called the number I had for you, and I also wanted to contact you via this site. I apologize for the lack of communication while you were at my store, from not only the salesperson, but the manager as well. A few things were not properly explained, so I will do my best to do that. Baiting and switching anyone on our lot never happens. What happened was we did not convey to you, properly, that the car you came to look at was actually in our paint shop getting worked on, for it had some key scratches on it and a few blemishes. The car was not being loaned out, and I apologize for the lack of clarification on the vehicle. The reason we needed to verify your identity through your social security number is for OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and also the Red Flag Check. The Red Flag check is to make sure that people are not victims of identity theft. OFAC is for National Security. You can find information on licensing and titling on the US Treasury’s website here (http://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/Pages/forms-index.aspx) It is still shocking to myself all the checks we need to do to verify people, it again though is for everyone’s protection. At no point would we run your credit if you have asked us not to. This should have been better explained to you while visiting my store, for that again I apologize. The rest of the credit application that is filled out, address, name, and things of that nature, are used for the titling of the vehicle I hope I have helped clarify some of the miscommunication and misconceptions of the car deal. If you have any questions, I would really like to speak with you myself. (425) 425-0101 Respectfully, Kyle Sorenson Internet Manager Michael’s Chevrolet of Issaquah

Hello and thank you for your honest feedback. I would like to apologize publicly for the confusion and the misprints on the advertisements. We were wrong in how we handled the situation, and for that we did not earn your business. Congratulations on your vehicle, and again I apologize for any inconvenience we may have put on you while visiting us. Sincerely, Kyle Sorenson Internet Manager Michael's Chevrolet

Thank you for letting me know what happened, and I apologize for the inconvenience this caused you, not just here, but while trying to buy your truck elsewhere. There is nothing I can say or do to change what had happened, however reviews like this help me put in to place better policies, and prevent things like this happening in the future. I hope you are enjoying your new truck none the less. Thank you again. Kyle Sorenson Internet Manager
