Four times a charm I have had 3 Subarus, and bought my 4th a few days ago at Exeter Subaru. In the past, I've always felt uneasy about where I've bought from, never get I have had 3 Subarus, and bought my 4th a few days ago at Exeter Subaru. In the past, I've always felt uneasy about where I've bought from, never getting a good vibe from them. They all seemed over-bearing, and fake, just in it for the money and numbers. A friend of mine pointed me towards Exeter when I was looking for an upgrade, because they had had a great experience there. I am SO glad they did! Tim Hartford was great, very personable and professional. They got me the exact car I wanted and made an excellent deal for my trade-in. What stuck out the most, was that they made it clear that they weren't in it for the numbers of cars, but rather for the relationships they build with their customers. It couldn't have been more apparent that this is the case. Can't thank them enough for not only getting me the car I wanted, but also giving me the peace of mind that I am doing business with a quality establishment and group of people, that really understand the importance of customer relations. Thank you Tim! You were awesome! I look forward to years of service with Exeter Subaru. More

Dan Bottomley was extremely helpful with finding a car that would fit all of my needs and budget and made me feel very confident in the process. I had a ton of questions and Dan took the time to explain them to me as well as explain features about the car that I was very pleased to be informed of. I was undecided between two models and Dan took the time to explain both of them to me which made me so much more confident in my decision. He allowed the car buying process to work very well with my work and home schedule and was able to get me in my new car in an extremly timely manner, super impressive. Two thumbs up to Exeter Subaru! First Purchase at Exeter Subaru Exeter Subaru was the first dealer that I visited when deciding to purchase a car. I enjoyed the laid back environment while walking through the lot and not having a million salesman attack me. I did not feel pressured at all. When I went back to test drive my now 2009 Subaru Forester I was greeted by Mike Alger, who was fantastic! Considering he had just started, he was very knowledgable and was not your "typical car salesman". Unfortunately, Mike wasn't in the day I went back to purchase my car. So I was set up with Dan Bottomley. Dan was just as nice and took me for an additional test drive and dealt with my millions of questions. At that time we were able to negotiate terms and a price and it was determined I would have a final test drive once repairs were made and the sale would remain pending. Fortunately, I was satisfied, although still find it to have somewhat of a noise( they say it's the tires, i'll never know till they need repairing). Then, at the closing I dealt with the sales manager and he was wonderful. Explained the warranty, and tire warranty and also informed me that I would be apart of the Advantage Program(Something neither salesman told me about). He was very upfront and honest. He didn't give us any BS, and we appreciated that! That closing on the car, was the easiest part! It was a very stress free experience and I would purchase another car there in the future! More
Worth The Wait! I visited Exeter Subaru in June for a 2015 Forester, I took the test drive and fell in love with it! Unfortunately due to the shortage of the model I I visited Exeter Subaru in June for a 2015 Forester, I took the test drive and fell in love with it! Unfortunately due to the shortage of the model I wanted, we had to special order it. It came in 14 weeks later and it was so worth it! Dan B kept me informed on each step of the processed when he learned any new information. When it finally came in, everyone was excited and the team at Exeter Subaru was excited for me! I love the car and Dan B was a terrific person to deal with. I would highly recommend them! More
Service Department I purchased my vehicle from the Subaru Dealership and had a positive experience. I was recently in the service department for a couple of recalls. F I purchased my vehicle from the Subaru Dealership and had a positive experience. I was recently in the service department for a couple of recalls. For the past few months I have been dealing with a rattle when I drive the car around. The mechanics performed an evaluation of the vehicle (again something that I consider to be a good thing for mechanics to do) and was told that the rattle was being caused by my heat shield and that it would be $75 to weld the heat shield back on. I got a second opinion from an auto body shop and was informed that the heat shield is actually made of tin and cannot be welded without causing damage to the shield. I expect more from a service department located in a dealership. All of my previous experiences to that point had been acceptable, but this shows that I cannot trust this service department for any future work and would recommend to anyone that reads this article to get a second opinion before accepting the word of any service department representatives. More
