I initially went to this dealer to test drive only. The salesman, Eric, approached me on the lot and was very helpful in picking out a few models to drive. After the test drives I decided to leave, secretly loving the Forester I had just driven. Eric didn't try to keep me there or desperately sell me anything. He thanked me for visiting the dealership and the sales manager also thanked me as I left. I came back after lunch and decided to get the car. Eric spent amble time with me to make sure I was comfortable with the pricing and had the financing options I wanted. The business manager also spent plenty of time going over everything before I signed the paperwork. Eric has spent the time to follow up and make sure I'm happy with my purchase. I feel like I can call or email him with any questions I may have in the future. More

When I then visited in person I was greeted by Dan Maynes, with whom I worked to find a car and lease package that fit my price range. In every sense of the phrase, where other dealers fell short, Exeter Subaru excelled. The down-to-earth and honest staff, particularly Dan, made my entire experience enjoyable-- not a word I'd typically use to describe shopping for/purchasing a new car. This is the second vehicle I purchased from this dealership and after a gap of two car purchases, one Toyota and a Nissan. I returned to check out a Crosstrek and ended up leasing an Outback. The sales process remains low key, and Eric was very pleasant and patient to deal with as were the sales manager and person handling the paperwork for the dial lease/purchase. In short, the dealership had improved on their customer service at the sales end from my first experience, which was gratifying, given that my return for a purchase was based on the personalized experience from my previous purchase. This was e first time that I leased a vehicle rather than purchasing, so the pricing breakdown with my trade was a bit confusing, but overall, I felt they treated me fairly and am satisfied with the final price and payments. I look forward to reporting out on the service dept. once I get to that point. More

I have been doing business with Exeter Subaru for over 8 years, having bought my previous Outback from them, and have found them to be excellent with the service of my car.
