I just bought my first Subaru and I couldn't have had a more plesant experience. John Webster was a delight to work with. John took the time to explain all of my options and everything from the window controls to the rack on top of the car -- he just didn't miss a thing. Then introduced me to folks in the Service Department, the business manager - all the key players. I've been driving for over 40 years and I have never experienced such great customer service as I did recently. Hats off (well perhaps not, it's too cold here in New England) to John and Exeter Subaru. I would highly recommend this dealership and feel I have begun a very positive journey with my new vehicle. When I first called, someone answered right away, and was able to tell me whether the car was still available or not. The test drive loop is great because it includes both highway and back roads letting you get a feel for how the car runs. To top it off they send you away with a full tank of gas. Exeter Subaru is a small dealership in NH, and it really shows through the personal experience and attention you receive there. Although I cannot speak for everyone there, the financial person Jim was very shows through the personal experience and attention you receive there. Although I cannot speak for everyone there, the financial person Jim was very nice (didn't push extra warranties...) as was the sales manager Dan, and most of all my experience with Nancy Merz (sales) was an excellent one. I was interested in a used 2002 Jetta TDI (recent trade in). The dealership already replaced the rotors, pads and tires. She allowed me to take the car to a specialized VW mechanic, 30 miles away prior to purchase. We negotiated a price and that was it. The car was ready when agreed - Nancy even came in on her day off - the tank was full of gas and the car was washed. I have received a follow up phone call from Nancy a couple days after just to make sure that I was happy with the car. I am very pleased with this entire buying experience and highly recommend Nancy and the dealership. Exeter Subaru and Nancy will certainly be on the top of my list when I am considering the next vehicle. In addition, they also offer a very good referral program. More

We went to look at a specific used car and found John to be very helpful. They were very good about allowing us to bring the car to our own mechanic (40 minutes away) to have the car looked at and make sur be very helpful. Our mechanic was very impressed with the car. While we were gone they processed our loan and had the paperwork ready to go when we got back if we chose to go through with buying the car (which we did). I have never had such an easy and stress free time buying a car. We will absolutely recommend Exeter Subaru to anyone looking for a car. More
