We didn't experience any annoying pushiness here: Justin was our friendly salesperson. Seemed like a happy place. Haven't used the Service Dept yet, so can't comment on that. Beautiful new building and waiting room, and super coffee and healthy snacks for the customers! Love the new Outback. More

I spoke with a CSR and took a test ride in the vehicle...loved it! The issue was that my wife and I were in the process of a buyback of our 2013 VW Passat TDI SEL and I was trying to be proactive in buying a car for her so she would have a vehicle to drive after release of the VW. The 3.6R had a price of 34K and some change. After some initial back and forth with phone calls trying to make a deal to include an additional warranty, I spoke with Max Bzdafka who finally contacted me after a couple days and offered me a price of 32K and certification of 7/100 on the car. I called back later that afternoon with a question regarding the warranty for Max but he was unavailable so I spoke with Jim (I assume it was Jim LaFlamme however, I never got his last name). Jim explained that the 7/100 warranty was a bumper to bumper which he said included everything on the car however, I later found out through research this was not the case. Further, this deal was also contingent on Exeter Subaru inquiring with the manufacture relative to a certain chemical used in the interior of the vehicle and whether or not it is used in the manufacturing process as my wife has certain allergies and if it were used, we would not be able to make the purchase for obvious reasons. I also informed Max we would not be able to take delivery until after the buyback process was completed scheduled for 3/10/17. However, I did offer to put down a $1000 dollars to hold the vehicle. He indicated he could not keep the vehicle on the lot that long even if I did put the good faith money down. The following week brought inclement weather to the New England area and every time I called Exeter Subaru to speak with either Max or Jim, the receptionist informed me they were both out "shoveling the lots off". For the record, I called at least 3 times everyday over that same week timeframe as I was very interested in purchasing the car and didn't want it sold to another customer. Unfortunately to this day, neither Max nor Jim have even attempted to call me back. So, my wife and I decided to take our business elsewhere and have now agreed to purchase a 2017 Subaru Outback Limited with Prime Subaru in Hudson. Prime Subaru did take a lesser amount of $500 deposit down to hold the vehicle until 3/11/17 when we take delivery. Update as of 3/2/17, according to their website, the 2016 Subaru Outback 3.6R is STILL on Exeter Subaru's lot however, and now has been reduced significantly down to $32K and some change. Ironic that it is still there but the business manager indicated he couldn't keep it there this long. Also, Prime Subaru went out of their way to contact the manufacture and found out the chemical inquired upon was not used in the manufacturing process...so that was great news!!! Bottom line: this dealership was never interested in selling my wife and I this vehicle although we wanted it badly. It seems as though keeping the snow off the vehicles and ensuring their lot was drivable is more important than trying to sell cars. Further, I've bought and paid for at least 12 cars in my lifetime and I can truly say I've never been treated worse at any other time in my life with the car buying experience. This dealership will tell what they want you to hear and are very untruthful when it comes explaining additional warranties. Terrible experience!!!! More
Love my (New) Used Car I was in the market for getting a used car. We worked with John Webster and he was a pleasure the whole way. I normally hate dealing with dealership I was in the market for getting a used car. We worked with John Webster and he was a pleasure the whole way. I normally hate dealing with dealerships because they tend to be very aggressive and pushy. This was not the case this time. Though things took longer than expected to work out mainly because we had 4 major snow storms in a row that hindered progress for not on me but the as well. I would recommend this dealership and especially John to anyone. We couldn't be happier with our new vehicle! More
