I came in looking for a Ram 1500 and Delroy was able to land me on the perfect match. It had a small dent and I was told it would be fixed and he stayed on top of that during the entire process. One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Delroy made sure to not only answer all my questions but also made sure to find my exact needs. I will gladly recommend Fair Oaks Chantilly to my friends and family and most certainly will point them in Delroy’s direction. The Good --professional and courteous, except for the salesman next to us who was belittling his customers in front of everyone else on the sales floor, who ultimately left. Compared to other dealerships salesman next to us who was belittling his customers in front of everyone else on the sales floor, who ultimately left. Compared to other dealerships, the wait time was good. Drinks and snacks were offered while we waited for paperwork/sale. The Bad: Lack of clear transparency throughout entire sell. Not a fan of the response given when asked if we can remove misc accessories of $765 from purchase which were given no specific details, info, or paperwork on what it is, how to use it, or timeframe of expiration, etc. Was told this was already "built into vehicle". Since when are you required to pay additional coverage on electronics that are covered in 1. factory warranty 2. extended warranty again already paid for out of pocket. We were promised LoJack would be "thrown in for free" for 3 years, turns out it is actually 1 yr on the paperwork and is already part of the $765 they force you to pay, so it actually isn't free. Didn't disclose there was only 1 fob. Promised they would try to get out oil stains in back seat, but let us take it home a few hours after initial purchase agreement (stains still there). Was under the impression we were doing a sight-unseen trade with general ballpark milage and recent pictures taken on phone. Turns out that wasn't the case and was asked to pay an additional $750 AFTER signing all contract documents agreeing to original deal. The Ugly -Incentives are very misleading and not what they appear to be worth. An average at best of 7.99% interest rate with excellent credit score is an insult. Not being able to pay off immediately leaves you paying more than the incentive is even worth. Trade in value offer is so bad, they need to pretend to give you a $1K additional credit to make you feel somewhat better. Thankfully we have the means to pay it off in cash. After all was said and done what should have been a 27K out of pocket ordeal, turned into a 35K one. Sticker price was approx 37K, and after trade in of 3,5K and $5,500 in cash total price (not including oil changes at 1K and extended service warranty for $3,800) was $42,400. (A net profit of $5,200 without even taking in consideration what the profit from the invoiced purchase price of vehicle is from auction. Would I go here again, no. Would I recommend them, no. It doesn't matter what 3rd party information you give them to negotiate a fairer price, they will return to their huddle and come back with their own #s with no extensive break down on any 3rd party site. As I was told the mechanical functioning of a trade-in does not matter, only miles and year. That is not true, just as it isn't true when purchasing a vehicle, but this is what they want us to believe to be true because it works greatly in their favor. This isn't my first rodeo and unfortunately I should have walked out the door and got a second quote and made them work with me. After all, the vehicle had been setting for over 90 days, was involved in an accident, and had stains on the seats, along with dried cleaning product residue all over the outside of the vehicle. At least now we have "free oil changes" for the next few years...??? worth 8K extra ??? 5K in rando additional fees for duplicate coverage--not really. Next time I will be buying from my Uncle. If I am going to give away 8k, it may as well be family. More
On June 10, I located a 2025 Certified Pre-Owned Ram through TrueCar and was promptly contacted by Sarah Sitowitz at FairOaks Chantilly. We agreed on a fair out-the-door price, and I signed the buyer’s through TrueCar and was promptly contacted by Sarah Sitowitz at FairOaks Chantilly. We agreed on a fair out-the-door price, and I signed the buyer’s order. Although I had pre-approved financing, I applied through the dealership after being told they might match the terms. After some back and forth, Finance Manager AJ eventually matched my rate. Because I was out of town on vacation, I made it clear that the entire transaction would need to be handled remotely. I requested a complete financing package to review before signing and having the vehicle delivered. Despite providing all required documentation and staying responsive via text and limited phone calls, the vehicle was delivered with: ❌ No financing agreement ❌ An incorrect buyer’s order ❌ Only one key (missing the second) ❌ No documentation confirming Certified Pre-Owned status or warranty details. Since delivery, I’ve received zero follow-up. My calls, texts, and emails to Sarah and the finance team have gone unanswered. After returning from vacation, I scheduled an appointment with AJ Noorzai on June 18 to finalize paperwork, correct the buyer’s order, order the missing key, and obtain CPO documentation. Instead, I was handed off to someone else who couldn’t complete most of these tasks. I initiated payment through my credit union on June 18, but the finance team didn’t complete their part until June 24. I had to escalate again on July 1 just to get the missing key ordered—thanks to someone named David. Still, no word from Sarah. As of today, July 9, my temporary tag expires tomorrow, and I still don’t have: 🚫 Permanent tag 🚫 Title 🚫 Second key What should have been a simple, straightforward transaction has turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. I’ve made every effort to be proactive and cooperative, even while working remotely, yet I’ve never felt so ignored. I cannot recommend this dealership. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is simply unacceptable. More
I’m not 100% recommend this dealership. For my experience is so worse and worse Manager name is JOSE BUSTAMANTE BEWARE OF THIS PEOPLE HERE THEY CHARGE YOU UP FOR 5k more I am writing For my experience is so worse and worse Manager name is JOSE BUSTAMANTE BEWARE OF THIS PEOPLE HERE THEY CHARGE YOU UP FOR 5k more I am writing this complaint today about Fairoaks Jeep Chrysler Dodge of Chantilly. I purchased a car last week and traded in my truck. I was under the impression I was buying the vehicle as well as adding on the optional insurance and extended warranty. Only I was only given five pages of my paperwork and was told those were my copies days later I got my, full packet of paperwork, and that is when I realized that the dealership had packed in a warranty and an outrageous cause that was not disclosed to me low jack which I was not interested in whatsoever and declined as well as the Zürich shield for the paint protection, my total price out the door went up almost exactly $10,000 Just to add insult to injury I was recommended to the dealership from two people who had worked there so I came in with my guard down a little bit. I literally signed one time on the iPad which the finance manager was able to click and sign during the rest of the deal, distracted and playing off of my naivety. I have reached out to the dealership offering an attempt to resolve this as the big thing I wanted was the gap insurance and possibly the warranty instead, I didn’t even get gap insurance so God forbid I had total my vehicle. I would’ve really been in a terrible situation once I reached out to the dealership nobody is contacted me in a reasonable time frame and once I did finally get somebody on the phone they were not interested in working with me or even really hearing me out, I have consulted other friends and coworkers as I also work in the auto industry specifically as a car salesman every single person I have told to me what they did was not unethical, but it was illegal. I do not typically like to get legal action involved but at this point, I am paying over $100 extra for things that I did not even want, I feel like this dealership needs to be investigated, and strict action needs to be taken as I do not feel like I received anywhere close to the customer service that I should’ve received as a consumer I feel played. I feel cheated. I was misled and I am regretting doing business business with Chrysler Dodge, thank you and I hope to hear from somebody here soon FINANCE TEAM IS AMIR KOWKABI More
