I have purchased several cars and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. My lease was ending on my current vehicle so I went to Browns looking for good service since I purchased from them best experience I have ever had. My lease was ending on my current vehicle so I went to Browns looking for good service since I purchased from them before. Well that did not happen. I had an awful experience and decided to switch gears completely and look at a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I emailed several Jeep dealers in the area looking for the best quote with the options I wanted and none could come close to what Fair Oaks offered. I worked with Aaron Call through email to negotiate a few more things and he was very responsive and helpful. My wife and I eventually made it in to the dealership. From the start everone was extremely friendly and not pushy at all. Aaron set us up with Tony Nardelli (General Sales Manager) and he could not have been nicer or more genuine. We couldn't decide on color/additional package and he patiently showed us all our options. He searched other dealers and found several vehicles he would bring over if we wanted. We eventually decided on one he had on his lot as they have a nice inventory. As the new Jeep was being detailed all the paper work was prepared and ready to go. The gentleman in the finance department was great and had us out of there very quickly. Aaron came out to show my wife how to set up all the options (nav, bluetooth, satellite radio, etc). He was great to work with. Tony, you run a great dealership. Thanks for the service. We will be back. More
Outstanding Customer Service, Excellent Pricing, no high pressure sales tactics, family owned and made us feel like part of the family. Highly highly recommend dealership. Our Sales Consultant was Drew Ham pressure sales tactics, family owned and made us feel like part of the family. Highly highly recommend dealership. Our Sales Consultant was Drew Hamilton, excellent! We also worked with Bonnie Abbott, Internet Sales Manager. She, as everyone was so personable, so fabulous and genuinely interested in making us happy. One of the worst parts about buying a vehicle is the Finance folks; not here! Carlton Calloway was superb exposing everything about the terms and lifetime warranty. The dealership worked with us to ensure we were at the price we wanted and were happy with everything. Everyone we encountered was kind, happy and NO PRESSURE! To top it off, they have Starbucks coffee for ya! More
Yesterday, I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from Fair Oaks Motors in Chantilly, VA. This is my second Jeep purchase there, but it will not be my last. Actually, my spouse is considering a new from Fair Oaks Motors in Chantilly, VA. This is my second Jeep purchase there, but it will not be my last. Actually, my spouse is considering a new Jeep to replace her current one. Yes, we are Jeep people as I have had 6 in a row and she has had 4 in a row. I am a retired military officer who has purchased numerous new vehicles in the past, so I can ascertain when a dealership values their customers instead of considering them just another number. I had done my research on-line and even visited another Jeep dealership to determine my trade-in value. I really appreciated the manner in which I was dealt with by both Bart and Tony. The honesty and no pressure sales approach made negotiations pleasant instead of challenging. If you are reading this, I highly recommend that you do your research, go and visit another dealership or two (regardless of the make) to get an idea of what your trade-in is worth and then go and purchase your new Jeep at Fair Oaks. An alternative, and my recommendation, is save yourself some time and just go straight there after you did your research. From what I observed, the other members of the sales staff appeared to have the same ethics as Bart and Tony, so if you don't want to ask for them, I am sure that you will receive the same quality of service that I experienced. If you are not comfortable with the manner your negotiations are proceeding, don't hesitate to ask for Bart and Tony. I am confident that your sales experience will be pleasant and conducted professionally. On a non-sales related matter, I had taken my previous Jeep in for normal service and was very pleased with the Service Department. I can honestly say that the several times that I have been there, for either a purchase or service, I have never seen or heard what I would consider to be a displeased customer. Enjoy your new Jeep, which I am sure you will purchase from Fair Oaks Jeep. More
Drove five hours round trip (thanks DC/Balt traffic) to check out a car that I had confirmed with the internet sales rep David Reyes was in fact on the lot. It was confirmed available through email, phone check out a car that I had confirmed with the internet sales rep David Reyes was in fact on the lot. It was confirmed available through email, phone conversation and their online inventory through Cars.com and the dealership website. Once there, they reassured me it was available and a sales representative started to assist. The car could not be found on the lot and when looked up in their system, was found to be sold SIX DAYS EARLIER. One day, or even the same day, is understandable but that's a big discrepancy and terrible business practice. I do NOT recommend dealing with this dealership who apparently thinks it's good practice to not confirm or prepare a car when someone is coming in for an appointment to look at it. More
After visiting a few dealers in the local area, we headed over to Fair Oaks. Bonnie was our first point of contact through Internet Sales. She was extremely kind and helpful. When we arrived, she introduc over to Fair Oaks. Bonnie was our first point of contact through Internet Sales. She was extremely kind and helpful. When we arrived, she introduced us to Joe. We really enjoyed our time with Joe. He was very professional, kind and most important, wasn't pushy at all. He was a "go with the flow" sort of salesman, which is hard to find these days. We didn't feel pressured at all. He was very thorough when showing us our Jeep and answered all our questions efficiently. The only area we were sort of irked with was at the end when we met with finance. We are very loyal to our bank for our own personal reasons and came in with financing through our bank. We were sort of taken aback when our financial consultant explained why we should have loyalty to no one. After going through the additional warranties offered, we passed. We figured we'd move right along to the next process but instead had to listen to about 10 minutes worth of "why we need this" as well as what we believed to be over the top false stories about others who hadn't purchased extended warranties and the troubles they had encountered. Put a bad taste in our mouth. Overall, we would recommend Fair Oaks to others when looking to purchase their new Jeep. Ask for Joe! More
Having previously spoken with Internet sales (Bonnie), I had a 1pm appointment. I arrived at the dealership ready to purchase a fully loaded Jeep GC. We simply needed to work out color and cost. After 2. had a 1pm appointment. I arrived at the dealership ready to purchase a fully loaded Jeep GC. We simply needed to work out color and cost. After 2.5 hours of back and forth, I finally left having never moved past the color aspect. Our sales person (William) had another appointment arrive during our visit and was attempting (poorly) to juggle 2 sales concurrently. While folks were nice, the entire process was very disorganized -- no one knew what they had on the lot -- they couldn't find keys to the vehicles -- no sense of urgency etc. Again, I arrived ready to purchase. 2.5 hours is more than enough to be most of the way through the process. I guess these folks expect you to spent your entire Sunday sitting and waiting for them to have the time to assist you. They lost out on a sale. We are now working with Leesburg Jeep to see if they are any better. More
Karl was great to work with. This was my 4th vehicle that I have bought from this dealership and I have had a great experience each time. The first car that I bought was from this experience and it wouldn't I have bought from this dealership and I have had a great experience each time. The first car that I bought was from this experience and it wouldn't surprise me if my last car was from here. Thanks to people like Karl car buying is not such a hassle. He takes the stress out of buying a car and takes the time to work with you on any car. He knows the value of each customer. I will continue to return to Fair Oaks, because of Karl. More
I had a wonderful experience buying my Grand Cherokee from this dealership. I had researched the car I was looking for online, and when I got there Karl was able to walk me right to it, explained all the from this dealership. I had researched the car I was looking for online, and when I got there Karl was able to walk me right to it, explained all the great things it had to offer and let me take it on a great test drive. I never felt pressured or rushed and Karl was able to answer any and all of my questions. He worked very hard on getting me the best price and did everything he could to get my monthly payments within the budget I had given him, which he did. He was super patient with me as I worked through the numbers in my head; I can't thank him enough for his help and patience! Karl even loaded all of my things (which...was a lot) from my old car into my new car without me having to ask. He even took off one of my favorite bumper stickers so I could put it on my new car. This experience was more akin to working with a friend rather than a someone "just trying to sell a car." I love my new car and I have already recommended this dealership to friends and will continue to do so! Thanks for a great experience! More
We purchased a Chrysler Minivan Town and Country in July 2013. However we first came to see a Dodge Minivan. I had called and let the dealership know we were interested in seeing Minivans. David promis 2013. However we first came to see a Dodge Minivan. I had called and let the dealership know we were interested in seeing Minivans. David promised to show a collection. When we arrived (my husband took the day from work) there was just one Chrysler minivan with the updates we liked. Very disappointed at the selection. If you are looking for minivan do not go to this dealership. In the end we chose the showroom car - luckily we loved the color and it had most updates which we wanted, some which we did not want but since it was the only minivan we liked we had to take it. Happy with the price and the car drives smooth. More
Spoke with Michael Tatum on the phone before making the hour commute. He held a car for us and assigned us to a fantastic sales man, J.C. He was not pushy, "genuinely" friendly and knowledgeable. We then hour commute. He held a car for us and assigned us to a fantastic sales man, J.C. He was not pushy, "genuinely" friendly and knowledgeable. We then went to their finance department, and he too was very helpful. The whole experience was fantastic. After meeting many phony and not so knowledgeable salesmen while searching for my new car, I truly appreciate working with Michael Tatum and Jack Croft. Thank you for making my car buying experience such a good one. More
