We had selected the Make, Model and color choices prior to visiting any dealership. We were pre-approved for financing via Navy Federal Credit Union and USAA. They wasted 2 hours of our time promising a vehicle they couldn't deliver and went on to give us all the reasons that vehicle didn't exist within a 500 mile radius. We left the dealership. We then went on-line to USAA Auto Buying service. We were contacted immediately by Bonnie Abbott of Chantilly Jeep. Bonnie and "Big Fish" Thadius took excellent care of us. We drove our new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland off the lot last night. No muss. No fuss. No lies. We purchased the Premium Care package for lifetime service. We've had Jeeps of all varieties since 1993 and know the solid value of this protection plan. They build great cars - but things happen on the road you never expect. It's peace of mind. We were very pleased with Jeep and the Chantilly Jeep Dodge facility. Thanks for making a sometimes daunting process easy. More
I contacted Bonnie regarding a used BMW that was at her dealership. This was a newer model car with low mileage that fit what I was looking for. I had contemplated trading in my 2011 before getting the service done because i was really impressed with the new 2014s. My decision to do so was made by whether or not i can get the car i want at the price i want with the service i deserve. Sony was confident that he could get me what i wanted and his awesome attitude and willingness to work with me was all I needed to proceed. Not only did he meet my needs he exceeded them. Marvin Rivera handled all the paperwork. He was well organized which made every thing go by smoothly as well he did a great job communicating what is was that i was signing. On top of that he was very engaging and pleasant to work with. A shot out to Tony Nardelli and his huge personality, He really makes you feel like a big part of the team. He stands out as a true leader and professional. Overall this car buying experience has stood out as the best in my car buying experience. There was not one person at Fair Oaks Chantilly Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM that wasnt a pleasure to deal with. I was in the market for a new car that would maybe get better mileage than my current vehicle, but I did not want a hybrid. We had a lot of back and forth via email where she gave me the price without pressure. Admittedly, the price was higher for the vehicle I wanted than at other dealerships so I was hesitant to come in to the dealership at all, but Bonnie was adamant that they would find a way to make the numbers work for me. Ultimately, I did not end up purchasing a vehicle from her nor from any other dealerships, but although the price was not as competitive, it was very much apparent from her communication and work ethic that they would really go to lengths to try and get my business. I appreciated the fact that she was willing to do so much number crunching for me despite the fact that I had not come in in-person. In this Internet age where consumers are able to find pricing details and do a lot more research online, it always irks me when a dealership simply tries to get you to show up. My husband called and asked if we could drop it off at 930 am instead of 230 on May 1,2013 and have it looked at early? Response was absolutely we can get it in this morning. My husband took our Jeep in to the service department spoke directly with a Tech. Explained in detail what we were experiencing and the computer code it was reading( picture included). All that being documented. As the day progressed my husband attempted on four different instances to obtain information on our jeep one voice mail, one written note once speaking to another lady. Only to have Barbara return the call to tell him they were still diagnosing it 5 hours later? Then AT 232 she called again to tell us what the issue was( again we already knew that going in) and that it would be 450+ dollars. I was so upset with this I called and requested the service manager( Tom Archer). He called me back I explained my disappointment and requested why the cost was so high. Why we were now at 345 in the afternoon without our vehicle when all the information was given at 930 am to be told it was exactly what we explained to a tech. I also stated that less than 90 days ago they charged us over 700 hundred dollars and told us they checked everything else out how could this have been missed not to mention why we had to initiate calls. He stated he needed to check into it. At 416 pm and then again at 419 pm May 1,2013 Tom called my cell phone and told me 250 dollars for the one pc..the rest was for cleaning and clearing my computer and codes. I returned his call and to date he has not called me back.....The jeep was fixed we paid 450+ and when i asked for an itemized bill the young girl was alarmed and sent me to some guy in a tie - he told me the 49.95 was to dispose of rags and things.. Again no itemized statement.. Long story short- they are not trustworthy and we feel completely betrayed and disrespected. I am still waiting for someone to make this right from their end..
