The whole dealership dropped the ball on my purchase. Do not use their loaner car! It’s a scam Be careful of Loaner scam. Just recently I had my Jeep in for routine maintenance covered by my warranty. I was hoping to be in and o It’s a scam Be careful of Loaner scam. Just recently I had my Jeep in for routine maintenance covered by my warranty. I was hoping to be in and out the same day. But the service tech told me they need to update my softwares and it won’t be ready til the next day. Told me I can have a loaner car free of charge. I thought nothing of it and did the routine of inspecting the vehicle, signed off on it. Next day, returned it. That was last Friday. Today I get a call from the loaner department saying the key FOB is damaged and had teeth marks. Asked me if I have a dog. I do. But the dog was not in the car nor near the keys. I told her I don’t think it’s my dog. She insisted it was. I wished I had inspected the key FOB before I drove off. Needless to say lesson learned. If and when you rent a car, don’t just inspect the outside vehicle. Inspect the inside AND the key!!! They are now trying to charge me $350 for a $59 replacement. What a scam!!! More
