Called Family Toyota of Burleson to ask for a ballpark estimate to replace a thermostat. Service advisor kept interrupting, saying there was a $135 diagnostic fee, which is fine. However, she would not le estimate to replace a thermostat. Service advisor kept interrupting, saying there was a $135 diagnostic fee, which is fine. However, she would not let me ask about an estimate for the t'stat replacement cost. After several attempts, I firmly, yet politely asked her to please let me finish my question. Her reply was she was not a technician and could not diagnose over the phone. I told her I did not want a diagnosis over the phone, but rather a ballpark estimate for replacing the t'stat. She become incensed, and seemed disturbed that I insisted on an estimate. She informed she did not know, and it would 10 to 15 minutes to find out. Then she said her "boss" did not allow her to do so, and became argumentative. In contrast, I immediately called Fort Worth Toyota, spoke with their service advisor, who listened to my question, answered with a price in less than a minute, offered to schedule the repair, and earned both my car maintenance and repair business as well as future new car & truck purchases. In fairness, before posting this on social media, I called Family Toyota of Burleson back and asked to speak with the manager about the service advisor's rude manner and poor customer service (they've serviced our Toyota for many years). Of course the manager was not available to take my call, and after several hours has still not returned my call. Bottom line: Fort Worth Toyota did everything right. Family Toyota of Burleson did everything wrong. More

I found Family Toyota when I was refused assistance at another DFW area dealership. I did research and found Family had the vehicle that I wanted. He quickly got the keys and showed me the updates that Toyota had made to the vehicle. We went back inside. Don and the sales manager gave me a great deal right off. The finance manager Leith was also great to work with. The entire process was smooth and I highly recommend Family Toyota and I know I will use them in the future. More
