Super awesome experience Clifton Poe was our salesman and he really went above and beyond. My mother and I came in on Wed looking at Tacomas and test drove 2 and looked at 3. Clifton was very patient with my mom and totally understood what we were looking for. My mom wanted a small truck but was a little worried about being able to get in and out ok with her bad back. She decided she wanted to get the truck but they had to get it from another dealer. Friday we came back in to get out deposit check back because she wasn't able to get the $4000 cash at this time. She was also worried about getting in and out and it was still a little to tall. So Clifton talked to her about a Camry LE and we test drove it and she loves it. Perfect fit. They greet you with a smile from the moment you exit your vehicle in the parking lot. I was looking for a vehicle for my daughter. They showed me the vehicles I requested to see. I had chosen two from viewing cars.com. They let me know what others were in the price range I desired. There was never any pressure - no upselling. This may sound far fetched, it is however quite true. I've purchased several cars over my lifetime and almost every purchase experience left me feeling as though I was in a battle. My blood pressure was elevated, my intelligence insulted... Other dealerships misrepresent themselves, with ads that aren't true. While negotiating pricing other dealerships typically go back and forth with, the "let me talk to my manager" game. It's insulting and exhausting. But not Family Toyota of Burleson! They do businesses as though they're dealing with friends and family they expect to see every day. I was treated with such respect and kindness, it felt like a relaxing breath of fresh air. I even like the music they played! Frank Thompson is the sales person who helped my daughter and I. Frank and I have done business at another local Tarrant County dealership back in 2012. He was working at the same dealership I'd purchased a new car from back in 2006. The 2006 experience was one of those experiences spoken of above. This was not Frank Thompson; he didn't work there in 2006. I was loathe to return in 2012 to buy a car with my wife. A co-worker told me about "the best salesman ever!" When I asked what dealership he worked, my heart sank; I remembered 2006 at that other dealership. I trusted my co-worker due to the tremendous respect I have for her. That's when I met Frank Thompson. Frank is a thoughtful professional in every sense of the word. We purchased exactly what we were looking to purchase. Frank even saved us money! He told us of a discount for which we qualified through USAA. Frank Thompson believes in relationships selling -not just transactional selling. Frank Thompson had emailed me just weeks prior to us needing to shop for a vehicle. He emailed to let me know he was now with Family Toyota of Burleson (FTOB). What a great combination! Frank Thompson and Family Toyota of Burleson. Frank loves working for FTOB. I never knew the previous dealership was less than an ideal environment for Frank. That, I suppose, is just the professional Frank Thompson is. I'm happy for Frank. He smiles more at FTOB. Now we're smiling too. My hat's off to FTOB! I love walking through those doors. The entire team treats you like Family. Each member who noticed me standing about offered to be helpful. Not a single person was pushy or rude. Each one was pleasant and made it easy to smile.
