Honored their quote , Earned my business and respect Yesterday my wife and I purchased a new 2016 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Limited from Keith Hillman at Fannin automotive. When I first spoke to Keith over a we Yesterday my wife and I purchased a new 2016 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Limited from Keith Hillman at Fannin automotive. When I first spoke to Keith over a week ago, I explained that I planned to shop around and get price quotes from several dealerships, and that the one that had a competitive price and I felt comfortable with would get the sale. Once I looked around I received quotes from a half a dozen dealerships . The Fannin Toyota quote was by far the best. I emailed back and verified that this quote was for the vehicle I described. After getting a reply that it was, my wife and I drove from Hurricane, WV to look it over and most likely buy it. It turns out that a mistake was made on the quote. It was an honest mistake... but one that if honored would cost the dealership quite a bit of money. When the sales manager Derek got involved, he found the error, showed me what happened, and to make it right offered me the Rav4 at dealer cost. While my wife and I discussed it, he came back and said " We quoted you the car at that price... we'll sell it at that price. " . I've dealt with several dealerships over the years, but this is the only one that I believe would have gone ahead with the sale. They are in the business to make money... but sometimes doing the right thing is worth more. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, please give them a chance to work with you. Everyone at the dealership made us feel at home. To Mr. Fannin and his pup, Keith Hillman our salesman, Derek Tingler the Sales manager , and Jose Padilla in finance I say Thank You.
