Typical Dealership Experience Purchasing a vehicle is never fun. I wasn't looking for an easy purchase, but I was hoping for a smooth transition into a new car. The salesmen did th Purchasing a vehicle is never fun. I wasn't looking for an easy purchase, but I was hoping for a smooth transition into a new car. The salesmen did the best that he could to accommodate my needs, but there were hiccups along the way that could have easily been avoided. The over all purchase took close to a month. Faulkner required a $500 deposit to DX the vehicle that I wanted because they did not have it on their lot. I have not had to do this before when having a vehicle DX'd; therefore, I was not pleased with the deposit request. Faulkner also required that the consumer pay the destination fee, but when I reached out to Hyundai USA, I was informed that it is at the dealers discretion to charge the consumer the destination fee. I honestly don't feel that the consumer should eat the price of having a product delivered to location, plus put a deposit down if the vehicle requested is not on the lot. That is a poor business model in my opinion. Again with previous dealerships, I have not had to paid the destination fee. This was my first time purchasing a Hyundai, so when I had questions about the company/dealership and Hyundai product, I reached out to both the dealership and the Hyundai USA, which resulted with conflicting responses/answers. Luckily! I like my Santa Fe, but as for the management of the dealership and the Hyundai name, there seems to be some items that need to be tweaked within the dealership - Communication between the dealership departments is one of them. The finance department was not familiar with what incentives were being offered and what interest rates worked with what incentives. When questions were asked, I was often punted over to the sales department for answers. More

It was all add ons and I just wish he would have said that up front. Then I was totally uninterested when I found out it was add ons because I felt like I was being miss leaded. I also was confused then with what we actually got. Then when we said no to that stuff he just speeded threw and didn't go over the actual important stuff. He also swore in front of my son. Not cool. So I would give the finance experience a 2. Also because we have leased another vehicle from a local dealership and the experience was impeccable! They were upfront about everything and we actually bought a add on package because of that. More

Ho My lease was recently up and while I was considering new vehicles I was referred to Holly Beeman at Faulkner Hyundai Harrisburg. I was not misled. Holly was the best car salesperson I have ever dealt with. I felt she truly had my best interest at heart, listened to my needs and concerns and made the car buying experience less stressful. She truly treated me like family and even patiently met with me over a week later after I had confused myself with all the new car technology. In addition to Holly, the rest of the staff in the showroom was friendly and the finance guy even stayed late so he could finish my paperwork rather than pass me off. No one pressured me into buying things I didn't want or need. For the first time I left a dealership without regrets. I truly could not say one thing bad about this experience and I'm so pleased with my new (car) baby. More

Holly was Wonderful! My car was totaled in a freak accident, but Holly Beeman made replacing it enjoyable and easy.
