Chevrolet is a major dealership, sisters facilities all across the globe. I reside not in Tampa but in another city so I took it too another Chevrolet dealership that was in the city I reside in. Who then did a full diagnostic, report came back tranny was over filled need another one. Called Ferman they proceeded to tell me it was MISDIAGNOSED! Ferman also proceeded to say I should've brought the vehicle back to them so they can diagnose it because it was wrong. "WHY would a major company MISDIAGNOSED another vehicle that's under the same Umbrella"? Keith&Tom both managers at the company tells me nothing can be done. Now they'll leave a response saying call this number so we can resolve this issue on all these PLATFORMS. Well nothing gets resolved besides them saying sorry I can't help. The review they leave is left to make the company look good as if something will be DONE. This is an insult on my character let alone poor services. The tranny cost $2000 less from what I purchase the vehicle as. Now on the purchase date, I was told the vehicle had been serviced and checked out under the hood and everything was good just was high mileage. I certain I'm not the only one who's being treated very poorly by this company especially A WOMAN. More

James Thompson – Very Disappointing Service I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from James Thompson at Ferman Chevrolet on Dale Mabry. When I scheduled my appointment, I clear extremely disappointed with the service I received from James Thompson at Ferman Chevrolet on Dale Mabry. When I scheduled my appointment, I clearly requested an oil change, oil filter replacement, tire rotation, and I specifically wrote in the appointment notes to inspect and replace the damaged rear exhaust hanger/bracket if it was found to be damaged. The dealership completed the oil change and tire rotation, and another exhaust pipe component was replaced under warranty. However, the damaged rear exhaust hanger that I specifically asked them to inspect was never replaced. Even worse, no one informed me that it was still damaged or out of place. After the service, I personally got underneath my vehicle to inspect it and immediately noticed that the hanger had not been touched. It was still out of position exactly as before. I drove back to the dealership right away expecting them to correct the issue. Instead of taking responsibility, James Thompson simply told me to take my vehicle to another shop that specializes in exhaust work. I couldn’t believe that response. I specifically requested this repair during my appointment, and they completely ignored it. Rather than helping, I was sent somewhere else. What makes this even more frustrating is that I had already ordered the original GM replacement part through this dealership. In the end, I had to install the new hanger myself. It turned out to be a very simple repair that took only a few minutes. A job that the dealership could have easily completed during my appointment was left for me to do. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership, I buy my genuine GM parts here, and I expected honesty, communication, and professional service. Instead, my concern was ignored, I was never informed about the condition of the part, and I was forced to fix the problem myself. This experience was extremely disappointing and has seriously damaged my trust in this dealership. I sincerely hope management reviews how customers are treated because this level of service is unacceptable. More
