I was said to take 8 day and I would be kept informed of progress. The car was left in on July 2nd, and on July 9, I figured the car has to be ready; but that was not the case. My car 2026 Chevy Trax was involved in an accident. We used your collision center & service department to make all repairs needed. Arrived 5/26/26 at collision center and picked up 49 days later. Dominick from the collision center told me he could have the car ready for me on 7/13/26 but he did not have enough time for the complete detail job on my car. OK, no problem, I would bring back in 3 days after my medical procedure. Picked up the car and it was only run through a car wash and inside quickly wiped down. Grease or oil on both front seats, door panel, headliner, dash and side strip at windshield, carpet on floor was never vacuumed nor was the engine dept rinsed down, (the engine and transmission had been removed and reinstalled) plus the insulation pad on the inside of the hood had been torn and not replaced. Brought car back on the morning of 7/17/26 to Dominick and expressed my concerns with the LACK of care the Service department used while working on my car. This car was only 6 months old and only had 2,700 miles. This was a new car, and they did not have any respect for someone else's property. Cover the seats, change your gloves when you get them dirty with grease or oil before you touch white fabric on the interior of someone's car! I told Dominick that I wanted the interior cleaned, shampoo the seats to remove oil/grease stains, headliner, side bar at windshield. clean door panels, complete detail of the car. Reply was OK we will get it done. Picked up car on the afternoon of 7/17/26 after I received a call from Dominick stating it was ready. Wife and I drove up to get her car, checked it out upon arrival and found all the grease or oil stains had been cleaned, BUT they never took the time to vacuum the carpet on the floor nor opened the hood and prayed down the engine compartment, which was filthy just like the carpet was inside on my wife's car. Dominick had the car for the full day, and his guy did a xxxx poor job of cleaning my wife's car. Went over to the main building and found Ty Robinson, one of the managers at Ferman. He was very nice and stood there and listened to my wife expressing her extreme disappointment with the Service Dept and Collison Center work ethic and total lack of care for her 6 month old car, (her baby) that was place in their hands to repair. Ty was informed of all that had transpired and the filthy condition we found our car in upon our first pick-up of the vehicle. Begging the question, why is the Service Dept and or the Collision Center allowed to work on vehicles without proper care being taken to protect to interior fabric? from oil/grease stains. What kind of practices are in place to prevent this and why are the not being followed? Or is this just common practice, having total disregard for the client's vehicle? We let Ty take the car and have HIS guy do a proper detail on the car and we picked it up the following day. Car looked great. TY was great, very understanding and made it right. The management at the Service & Collion departments completed the repairs and installed all new parts on my wife's car, which now looks and runs like it did before the accident. But you do NOT give back a person's vehicle without looking it over yourself, especially when there was a huge issue with the cleanliness before. Dominick and the person who detailed our car at the collision center dropped the ball BIG TIME. Needless to say, I will not be trusting my wife's car for any service work at Ferman Chevrolet in the future. I thank TY for his attention to this issue, but the lack of care everyone else did has changed my mind on using Ferman for anymore service issues. More
