ZERO% Integrity, Looking to Scam you from the start We wanted to buy a specifically equipped Mazda CX-9 and we were looking for year end deals for 2015 models. We shopped around several dealers but chose Ferman only because they told us they could get this exact color/package car we wanted at a price slightly higher than our best offer. We agreed and drove the 50 miles to pay the "$1000 deposit" requested to show OUR GOOD FAITH AND COMMITMENT. From the onset things were wrong. The documents listing the vehicle had the wrong VIN number, Monica our sales rep told us it was a simple mistake and made the correction. Then after going back and forth several times to the manager's office she came back asking us about making another selection "just in case" our chosen vehicle was not available. When we asked if there was a problem she assured us. "no, we just have to find out what vehicle they want from us in trade." We wrote the check and left feeling just a little uneasy, but she reassured us. The end of the next day Monica called my wife and left a voice mail stating they had arrived to get our vehicle at the trading dealership to find it damaged and could not complete the transaction. Being now completely suspicious we called the transferring dealer (we had demanded to know the source prior to our deal so we could see the vehicle on line) and learned the damage, trade arrangement and everything else about the deal was a lie. There had never been any intent on their part to get the vehicle we wanted from this other dealership. We were lied to and deceived from the beginning by Monica and her management team who conceived this false pretense to get us into their showroom, somehow thinking we were going to believe this incredulous story. If you are in metro Tampa area and are in the market for a good deal on a Mazda, go see the folks at Precision Mazda on North Dale Mabry. GM Arthur Banks and team there will work with you to give you a fair deal. Ferman with their "bait and switch" tactics and other places like them who are dumb enough to think shoppers are stupid are what give the entire industry a bad name. They will insult your intelligence and waste your time. AVOID! More

After meeting Alan Houze, our very capable and knowledgable sales representative, he allowed us to browse and answered all our questions. There was no pressure and no hovering and he listened intently to our needs and wish lists. We did not intend to buy any car nor did we need to, we were just researching. But we did find exceptional offers on their dealer owned Demo's and their impressive warranties that came with the very low mileage vehicles and decided to test drive two vehicles. In a couple hours we were Zoom Zoom on our way!! Happy with our CX-5 and with the experience and no pressure from the Ferman team. When I first visited Ferman Mazda, I was early in the car leasing process and had visited a few other car dealerships nearby. When speaking with Catherine, I made sure she knew I was early in the process and would not be purchasing a vehicle that day. Catherine was very understanding, accommodating and patient to my needs. Unlike some of the other dealerships, I did not feel as if she was trying to "seal" the deal with a sale that day. Many of the other salesman I worked with at other dealerships spoke negatively of other car brands while Catherine focused on my needs and the benefits of the Mazda brand. After a few weeks of researching and test driving cars, I made the decision of leasing a 2016 Mazda6. Great car, great brand and a great car buying experience.
