I bought out my Kia Soul EV lease in JUNE 2021. I love the car. But I cannot get any customer assistance from the dealership. In error, Hyundai/KiaMotorFinance, their business partner collected $840+/- ta the car. But I cannot get any customer assistance from the dealership. In error, Hyundai/KiaMotorFinance, their business partner collected $840+/- tax when the closing was processed (remotely due to COVID). I was unaware of this till I went to update my registration with NJDMV. NJ does not collect tax on electric vehicles (since 2005, thought someone would have gotten the memo by now). I have made numerous calls to KiaMotorfinance submitted my concerns in writing and followed up with NJ state tax exempt form at their request and continue to make weekly calls to them and to my Fette dealer. I was laughed at by a manager who derided my frustration and despite emails and calls to leadership I have yet to get a return call - requesting that someone who deals with KiaMotorFinance reach out to their trusted business partner (as reccommended in the BBB reviews for said company) It is now 7 months in and there is no resolution in sight and a week after a tepid reply to my most recent email zero concern or courtesy from Fette. Crickets. Nice doing business with you. Guess we'll see you in Small Claims. More
Services was amazing. We had been to couple dealerships before and people seemed rushed/rude and not willing to work with us. But here, I was able to get the car of my dreams with exceptional service from before and people seemed rushed/rude and not willing to work with us. My Escape has an open recall and I’ve personally contacted both the GM Chris and Service Steve with no replies. Notice says it’s important but apparently not import enough for Fette to reply. I had an absolutely horrible experience at this dealership. My 2018 Ford Fusion had a recall and it took them weeks to fix. The work was not done properly causing my car to stall in an intersection dealership. My 2018 Ford Fusion had a recall and it took them weeks to fix. I had to bring it in for a THIRD TIME and now its leaking oil for the first time ever. I had an independent mechanic review and they somehow cracked a seal in my engine. Awful awful repair work and horrible customer service. More
This guy is unreliable and cannot be trusted! Back in September 2020, I had cosigned on a car loan for my son. We purchased a service protection plan at his recommendation. My son moved away and the service plan was no longer necessary since it was only honored at the Kia service department in Clifton, NJ. I quickly contacted this man both by phone and left him several messages in regards to cancelling the service agreement. I also emailed him too. He never returned my calls nor responded to my emails. I kept calling and finally got to talk to him. He told me the policy can be cancelled and that the amount will be credited towards the balance of the car loan. He assured me that he would take care of it. I didn't hear from again. As a result, I drove to his office in Clifton ,NJ, and met with him. He reassured me again that he will take of the issue and proceeded to complete some paperwork in my presence supposedly to cancel the policy and initiate the credit towards the car loan balance. It has been 7 months now, he still hasn't taken care of it! My calls and emails have been disregarded. The bank who financed the car loan confirmed that they have not heard from him either. Be careful dealing with this man. He is unprofessional and cannot be trusted! He doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating. I only chose 1 star because I had to choose a rating. I am totally disappointed and upset! More
This place has gone downhill! I started buying cars from them 20 years ago. The last 2 leasing experiences were just horrible. Turning in the lease was worse. Due to this, I could never buy another car from them again, They are as shady as they come and play games. There's too much to tell in order to describe but just stay away! Loyalty doesn't matter here! Horrible dealer that cost me money due to their disregard for others. I only give it 1 star due to the pleasant man that assisted me in turning in my lease, Juan and for all the years that Dennis gave us great experiences. More
