A stroke of Luck! We happened to be staying at a hotel and realized we next door to Field BMW. Oddly we noticed our AC not working properly while driving down to Lakeland, Fl for business. They not only took care of that issue yet a few others they discovered while getting to the AC. Never pressured.....allowed me to take my time to reason it all out. Pulled the trigger as they say and was left up to Mike to inform me of progress. Got the first welcome call that the engine was in a week early. They came the money call.....it's done and ready for you. Said they cleaned her up and looks good. Picked up on Saturday and drove off feeling good about doing what I did. Have had the Z for 17 years.....want to have it for many many more. More

Fields Lakeland Saturday Alignment Great experience again at Fields. Much better quality work than Reeves. If you live in the Tampa area, Fields is definitely worth the drive. I gave them a 3 on price because they charge the average amount for a BMW dealer. But the difference is at Fields you actually get the quality service for which you're paying. Local advisors were helpful. Fields as a whole, not so much. I was out of town and received a flat tire. I called Fields BMW in Orlando, both the Tamiami trail location and the winterpark location - both dealers I was out of town and received a flat tire. I called Fields BMW in Orlando, both the Tamiami trail location and the winterpark location - both dealerships were unwilling to help me. One gentleman was helpful but I was disconnected during a transfer. I had to contact BMW corporate which advised me to find a tow truck to get it back to Lakeland and then find a taxi to take me to the airport so I could rent a car, at my own expense, from Enterprise. It was a huge hassle. I have friends who purchased from Reeves and Bert Smith and others who have had this happen and those dealerships sent a driver with a loaner car for them. Based on THAT experience I likely will not purchase from Fields again. They're great as long as you come to them all the time; unfortunately in this case I was stranded and unable to get to them without alternate transportation. Once my car was at the dealership it took five days to get my car back because of a recall in place from BMW NA. I was 3,200 miles away from my next service date and they stated they wouldn't change my oil while it was in because that was too far away -- if I was paying for it out of pocket I am certain that service would have been recommended to me. They had no problem recommending new back tires which only had 12,000 miles on them and I paid out of pocket for those. So I see a bit of a double-standard on the recommendation of maintenance depending on who is paying. I give high marks to Albert, Mike and Tina in service who kept my experience from getting worse. If it weren't for them this review would have been one or two stars for the overall disappointing experience with Fields BMW. More
