We (My spouse and I) went to this dealership on Friday 11/29/13. Lance approached us upon our arrival, made some little smart comment about us being there to OVERPAY them and quickly passed us along to Me 11/29/13. She appeared nice at first, but was did not seem to know how to compromise with us to make the deal satisfactory. She kept going back and forth to see Lance. We requested to see him to speak with him directly versus the "GOPHER" tactic he was using with Melissa, yet he never reappeared to answer any of our questions. Which made us rather suspicious. Also...when faced with questions for which she had no answer, she simply ignored what was being said and continuously messed with her Iphone. We left that night feeling as if our business was not wanted or needed. Once we reached home we searched for the GM of Lakeland BMW (G Gordon)and CC'd him in our msg to George whom had assisted us via phone. George was always pleasant and we appreciated his assistance. On Saturday 11/30/13 we received a call from Josh with his apologies, but we traveled to Orlando that day and ultimately purchased a vehicle there instead. I would not recommend this dealership to others after being made to feel as if we were disregarded when we visited the location. That is definitely NOT what we would consider GOOD customer service! They may want to provide re-training to both Lance and Melissa regarding the do's and don't of providing "GREAT" customer service to potential buyers. More
Amazing experience from beginning to end! Our first touch point was via email which was responded to within minutes. George was very responsive and in constant contact. Once at the dealership we worked with Magic who knew all the details of the M3 we were looking at and made the entire process enjoyable. From George to Magic to Lance the manager and Melissa the finance manager this was the nicest experience in buying a car. They have a laid back approach with knowledgable employees who treated us like family. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone!! More

I was in the market to buy a BMW and had heard the ads for fields so i wanted to give them a shot . My last bmw i purchased at furman and loved that car but i wanted to get a new one . so after a over 50 for fields so i wanted to give them a shot . My last bmw i purchased at furman and loved that car but i wanted to get a new one . so after a over 50 mile drive i got to their dealership and it looks great from the outside . but that looking about that’s the only good thing i can say about my time there . I picked out one of the cars i had seen on the internet a white 2013 328i. there were about 8 different 2013 they could get me for the same price. i asked if all had bluetooth and usbs. i was told yes that is standard . After 45 mins of back and forth with the sale person i came to a price and said yes i want to buy it . then they told me to the finance person . after a couple of mins with the finance person i find out a lot of what we talked about as far as warranties that i wanted through BMW were wrong or not there or through BMW . but the finance person was very help full and fix all the sale persons "misunderstanding" but now the car was 70 dollars more a mouth. i still said ok and bought the car . signed all the papers . go to pick up my car the sale person shows me all the new stuff this one has that my 2007 did not have . then said let me set up your blue tooth . we sit in the car after a couple of mins he said o this does not have blue tooth . i thought that was odd . cause i had asked and it was standard . but my fault i still drove the car home thinking i would just do it when i get home . well come to find out my car does not have bluetooth or the USB . the bluetooth i could careless had it in my old car and never used it . but the USB to get the 12gb of music i have on my iphone was one of the main reasons i wanted to upgrade my car . i called the dealer and sales person the next day they said there sorry . and wanted to do something to make it up to me . they ended up tell me they could give me sat. radio at a discount for my trouble .i had sat radio but it’s better than nothing . so i paid the 200 dollars more and got it . but thats all that have done the one phone call i made to them . not calling to see if i like the car or any of that . i think they know they sold me a dud and just ready for the bad servey . I just have to say that my experience today at Fields BMW in Lakeland was an absolute pleasure. The service manager (John Elmendorf) & my service adviser (Brian Woolery) went above and beyond my expectation in Lakeland was an absolute pleasure. I went in to have my vehicle serviced (needed new brakes, brake pads, tires, belts, etc) and not only were these gentlemen understandable and accommodating to my financial needs/ worries - they took the time to explain (and show!) me why my vehicle needed the repairs it did. If I could shout from the rooftops about how happy they and their services made me, I would! But for now, hopefully this review will help :) Thanks again, gentlemen! More

All of the people my wife and I met were very friendly and the price of the new 328I was arrived at without the normal bantering I have come to expect. I have bought (2) BMW's in Sarasota and (1) in Orlan and the price of the new 328I was arrived at without the normal bantering I have come to expect. I have bought (2) BMW's in Sarasota and (1) in Orlando. But I will come back to Lakeland for my next BMW. I have been taking my vehicles to Fields for several years now and every time they give me superior service. I have bought two car from them and have had them service my older BMW also. The service department is very friendly and most importantly listens to and addresses my problems so that they can provide me with the best solutions. I also use the parts department regularly and Gene and Jim have always help me get that hard to find part or are happy to give advice when I need it. Richie in service has gone above and beyond when I needed help with an ipod integration solution and did everything possible to make it work. Thanks again for such great work!! More
I recently had my BMW serviced at Fields BMW due to an engine light coming on in the car. This required several trips to the dealership to pinpoint the exact cause and work was performed early in the proc engine light coming on in the car. This required several trips to the dealership to pinpoint the exact cause and work was performed early in the process that did not resolve the issue. On the final service repair which resolved the issue, I asked the service manager, John Elmendorf, to review all the repairs to make sure they were justified. Upon review, John told me that the initial repair was not justified and that Fields BMW would be refunding me the amount of the part and labor. I found John and his staff to be extremely professional. John is truly a man of immense integrity and is an asset and great ambassador to the entire Fields Automotive Group. When you buy a BMW you expect great service but John and his staff went far beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this dealership. More
we live in Naples FL, we went to our local bmw dealer and got some quotes on leasing a new 128 conv, the quotes we got just didn't seem good, we also didn't get a good vibe from the place, we went home, got got some quotes on leasing a new 128 conv, the quotes we got just didn't seem good, we also didn't get a good vibe from the place, we went home, got online and found pretty much thee same car online at fields bmw in Lakeland, I called up and asked for a manager, I got lance on the phone explained to him what we were trying to accomplish, within about 8 minutes we had a deal we felt great about. we told lance we would get in the car and drive up, we also explained that it was a 3 hour drive and we did not want to get there and wait around for hours, he assured me we would not. on the way in the car I was sending him copies of our drivers license's, insurance cards, and current registration we were transferring. we arrived at 6:50 pm we were greeted by a nice smiling receptionist, who immediately called Phil, the salesman we had been assigned to, he had everything prepped, owners manuals, keys, bmw assist, car detailed, filled with gas, while with Phil, Lance came over introduced himself, told us we would meet with Melissa to do some quick final paperwork, we did that, she was great and we were back on the road to Naples by 7:55 in our new bmw. What a great experience, thank you Lance, Phil, and Melissa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mark & Ted More
