I purchased through Austin Motors here in MI...I wrote this review after speaking with Steven the used car sales manager on Saturday June 2nd. I have NEVER been treated so poorly and can not believe that it had to come to a poor internet review over 150.00 floor mats. I do hope you treat your local customers better than I was treated.

Hello, I have reviewed the transaction and I am still confused. From what I understand you purchased this car through a gentleman named Ted Smith at Austin Motors. I'm not sure what the terms were but it seems clear that if you purchased from him he should be providing any additional items that you feel you should have received. We have no relationship with him or his company. He simply called us and we wholesaled a car to him. If I have the wrong facts please let me know but I did leave a message yesterday for Ted Smith to call me. He hasn't returned my call?? On a positive note I can probably find a set of owners manuals for your car and would be glad to ship them out if you still need them. I will need your name and address since we have no record here of your information. As far as floor mats, I really think you need to take that up with the person or company you bought the car from. The new or pre-owned 2011 3 series cars do not come equipped with floor mats from the factory and many customers purchase them after the sale. Dave, If I can afford to purchase a BMW I am confident I can afford floor mats. The purpose for my review is that I was treated so badly on the phone, Steven was not polite at all, was adamant that he would not discuss this with me as I did not purchase the car "direct" and when I asked about the owners manual he went off on me saying he did not have time for this. My review stands, this has been one of the worst car purchase experiences I have ever had, and I haven't even gotten to the car I was going to purchase, was on hold and then when Steven was on vacation it was sold. If you want to make this right for me, do the right thing send an owners manual and floor mats. If not lets call it a lesson learned in purchase from your local dealership....
