Joe’s customer service was terrible. I came in to see about a SD Card removed error message after I had spoken with someone on Friday 12/15 @ 12:42pm for 3 minutes. Long story short the guy I spoke to told me since I purchased the car there I can have the problem fixed for free or on them. I told Joe what I had been told; and that the guy said they get this problem at least once a week. I also told him that I had researched it online and that it seemed to be a common problem. He asked me who told me that because they had informed me wrong. I said ok no problem because I have extended warranty. So, I asked Joe if he knew how much it would cost to have problem fixed? He replied since you did all that research you should know the cost. Just being a complete smart xxx, zero customer service. So, I asked to speak with a Supervisor. Supervisor asked me what is the issue and I explained the above and how rude Joe was. Supervisor told me there’s nothing free here. Which he made it seem like I was trying to get service for free when I was only going by what I had been. No apology for being told the wrong info or nothing just acted like I was trying to receive free service. I pay for what I need to have done and I don’t need handouts or free service I was only going by what I was told. I would have got the service done there but since Joe was a smart xxx and the supervisor making me feel like I wanted something for free. I will never ever purchase another car from them or have work done by them in St Augustine. Every chance I get I will tell people not to purchase a car at St Augustine Cadillac.The only thing they can do for me is wash my xxxx car. Since, I already paid for that and nothing is free there per the Supervisor saying so. Everything should been handled differently and should have been handled differently by both of them. More
Even though Joe the person who usually takes care of my vehicle was not there, Jake did a good job of filling in. When another customer canceled. he was able to fit me in even though I did not have an appo vehicle was not there, Jake did a good job of filling in. Was provided a $1400 estimate to include $475 for a new battery that I was told, “really should be replaced” and . “It was testing low’. Brought it to another shop, hours later and they couldn’t find anyt battery that I was told, “really should be replaced” and . “It was testing low’.
