HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mario Mendez Used Car Sales I was shopping for a specific car (2013 Lexus GS 350) ONLY....I researched this vehicle for over 2 years, I had already test driven all the Lexus Clas I was shopping for a specific car (2013 Lexus GS 350) ONLY....I researched this vehicle for over 2 years, I had already test driven all the Lexus Classes in my price range and knew that test driving that specific vehicle, year, and mileage, the test drive wouldn’t be much of an issue, it’ll likely drive fine and the test drive won’t make or break the purchase. This left me with the price driving the purchase. I called over 15 dealerships in a 3-day span in the IL area. All of my efforts were to no avail...either the cars didn’t have enough margin (Dealership Profit) built into the internet price to negotiate and budge to meet my price point, or the ones that did have enough margin were priced a couple thousand dollars over market average in their initial asking price (So they put their profit on the sticker price and negotiate down to a “normal” market price). I called Brederman Lexus in Glenview and spoke to a general sales answering service rep and showed interest in the car. (This experience was not much different than any other dealership) Within 5 minutes, Mario called me back. At first my assumption was, this is just another "sleezy used car sales man" calling me back on a prospective sale, but after 2 minutes of talking to him, I could tell he was an educated individual who knew his business. I had already priced out the taxes, fees, etc. on top of the asking price. What I originally asked for was too low, and I knew it...I was just "playing the game" to see where his margin was. We spoke for about 15 minutes and we worked on adjusting the price to meet my needs. He was able to remove intangible cost drivers (Lexus Certification) to meet my price range and then we sealed the deal OVER THE PHONE! He held the car for me until I could make it to the dealership. Once arriving to the dealership, it was an amazing experience (As amazing as buying a used car can be…) in comparison to other dealerships. He showed me the car, it was Lexus Certified and still under the original factory warranty. I didn’t even drive the car until I took it home. The entire experience was AMAZING and Mario and the Lexus dealership was truly a diamond in the rough compared to other dealerships and experiences. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARIO FOR ALL USED CARS SALES. Outstanding Service I had 3 lights on on my RX350 and brought it in right away with my 3 year old twin daughters. Malinda Montanez helped me with my service and always ma I had 3 lights on on my RX350 and brought it in right away with my 3 year old twin daughters. Malinda Montanez helped me with my service and always makes sure that all three of us are taken care of immediately. While we were waiting for the diagnostic test, my daughters were offered fruit snacks and everyone in the waiting area was given freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. My service was going to take up to two hours so Malinda was able to get me a loaner car so I didn't have to wait there any longer with my girls. Without even asking, she moved and installed my car seats and stroller into the loaner car. She always makes sure that we get full accommodations and provides me with the available service specials.
