I'm an avid new car leaser/buyer. I tend to have a new car every two years. I'm a loyal customer; however, the dealership and car maker must earn my business. Before choosing Honda recently, I was with car every two years. I'm a loyal customer; however, the dealership and car maker must earn my business. Before choosing Honda recently, I was with another dealership/car maker for ten years! The customer service at that dealership was tops; however, the car maker just didn't have the vehicle I wanted/needed anymore. Therefore, the search was on! I did my research. I went to several dealerships and looked at several makes/models of vehicles. I literally saved the best for last when I went to Findlay Honda! Darrell Hetke, my salesperson was very nice and thorough. He didn't take for granted I new anything about vehicles, especially Hondas. When it came down to numbers, he wasn't pushy. In fact, I asked to speak to the sales manager because I knew exactly what deal I wanted to make and didn't want to go back and forth putting Darrell in the middle. I spoke to Kevin Vanetta. He only gave me a little bit of a hard time; however, it was all in fun. He surrendered because he knew I'd be back when my lease was up. Next was the paperwork! Luckily, Eddie Tomes was there (I knew him from the dealership I moved from, we had both made the switch). Anyway, Eddie went over my deal with me, made me feel confident I had a solid deal, and even told me about the maintenance plan available (which is a great deal and worry-free). Which vehicle did I purchase? The Honda Pilot. It had the extra room I needed and the style I wanted. Two co-workers of mine each have one; and, when it came down to making the choice, there was no contest.
