My Sales Consultant Stephen Young was knowledgeable and professional. You could tell he knew all about the cars he was selling, the ideals and of the company, and the high standards of his dealership. Stephen was pleasant and extremely respectful, allowing the vehicle to do the talking and providing my wife and I with all the information we needed to make an informed decision. Our Sales Manager Kevin Vanetta didn't try to jerk us around. He was honest and provided very straightforward answers. You could tell he very much wanted to make a deal and make us as happy as possible. In fact, sometimes I wondered if this was his first day on the job. There was no high pressure or "playing with the numbers" like I have experienced in the past. I very much appreciated Kevin's approach. It makes me want to tell others of the great experience I had buying my car, which is something most people would never say. Finally, is there a better Finance Manager than Jeff Eenhuis? Talk about being honest and upfront. Jeff, with the help of some technological gennius from Honda (of course), asked us a few questions and came up with right-sized warranty and protection information. Again, no pressure to try and sell us something not right for us or a product we wouldn't make good use of. He was more concerned about our needs and a package that fit them best. He also made helpful suggestions about finance options based on the anticipated length of ownership for our new car. This made perfect sense and I appreciated Jeff's candor and expertise. Overall, my wife and I had a great experience purchasing our new Honda and I now from past performance that when service time comes, we'll be able to count on the same from this dealership's award winning service department. We were taken for a ride. Bait with a price we agreed upon then when it is time to sign they add on 12 more months! Worst dealership I have ever been to. I will never buy from them again! Charged over $800 more than the mrsp and we have outstanding credit. We also got taken on the interest rate. Failed to tell us Honda currently had a 0.9 interest rate for tier 1 customers! I had an older model of Honda accord, and it was out of warranty. I went to Findlay Honda to fix it and the cashier told me they offer extended warranty. So I went to see Don and ended up buying a newer model of accord. The newer car has warranty up to 120,000 miles and no deductible, and 3 year free maintenance. I think it is a good deal. After a negotiation, Don agreed to refund the money that I just spent on fixing my older accord. I think that's very nice of him. My salesperson is Darrel, he does not have the typical salesman's attitude. You do not feel pressure to buy the car. I highly recommend to look for Darrel for your car shopping. Overall, purchasing a car from Findlay Honda is pretty easy and relax. More
My family has purchased 5 new Hondas at Findlay Honda Henderson over the years. I was always pleased with Honda up until about a year ago. I noticed the paint on my 2004 Accord didn't look right. I took the car to two different professional body shops recommended by my insurance agent. I was told that the paint wasn't applied correctly and the clear coat was coming off, causing my red paint to have white patches. The problem was only going to get worse with time. I took it into service and was told since it had over 100k miles on it they wouldn't do anything about it...it's a 2004 garage kept car. It shouldn't matter how many miles it has on it...two different professional body shops confirmed it's defective. I dealt with several people at the dealership and ended up getting more frustrated. They wouldn't do anything about it. I called Honda customer service and got the run around. I was finished with Honda! I decided it was time to purchase a newer car and hand down the 04 Accord to my teenager. I was going to buy a Toyota Camry. My boyfriend suggested I talk to Alex Fuess at Findlay Honda Henderson. He has purchased several cars over the years with Alex and he highly recommended him. I decided to give him a shot. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!! Alex was empathetic about my 04 Accord. He discussed it with Kevin Vanetta. Between the two of them they really worked the numbers for me. I ended up with a 2008 Certified Used Honda Accord (silver...not red!) Alex made the experience of buying a car fun...and buying a car isn't fun...it's stressful. Kevin called me the following day and told me he was giving me 4 free oil changes and 2 details. He wanted to do what he could to make the situation with paint on my other car better. I appreciated both of these guys working with me. I was so happy, I brought my oldest daughter to the dealership the following week and she bought a car from Alex too. My family and friends were very surprised that I went back to Findlay Honda Henderson after how much frustration I had with my last Accord. I am back to being a loyal Honda customer thanks to Alex Fuess! More
