I recently purchased a 2022 Honda Accord 2. 0 from Findlay Honda in Henderson, NV. My experience with this dealership could have been more pleasant. I live in the far Northwest side of town, and 0 from Findlay Honda in Henderson, NV. My experience with this dealership could have been more pleasant. I live in the far Northwest side of town, and my choice would have been to buy from a dealer on my side of town. I contacted Findlay Honda online, enquiring about a specific Honda Accord on their lot. The dealership knew upfront what vehicle I was interested in. One of the online salespersons (Kevin) contacted me, and we began negotiating price and terms. I was looking for a dealer that would give me the best deal. I told Kevin I did not want my credit run until we agreed on a price. I am a person that takes great care in maintaining an excellent credit rating. Kevin stated through voice communication and text message that If I had an excellent credit rating, he could get me a 2.90 percent interest rate for 60 months. We next agreed on a price and terms. Kevin presented these numbers to the sales manager and confirmed they could sell me the car at the agreed terms. I ask Kevin how they offer a lower interest rate than other Honda dealers in the area. He stated, “We get special rates because we sell more vehicles than the other dealers.”I made an appointment with Kevin at the dealership on Friday, 20 January, and drove across town to purchase my new car at the agreed terms and price. I met Kevin at the dealership when I arrived. We looked at the car I was going to purchase, the 2022 Honda Accord 2.0 model. After I approved the car, we went inside to start the paperwork. The first document completed was the credit application. The dealership ran my credit, and my FICO score came back as 854. At the same time, Kevin presented me with the numbers for our deal; I assumed these numbers would be for the previously agreed terms, but they were not. I expressed my displeasure at this point and asked why these were different and much higher than the previously agreed terms. Kevin and the sales manager told me they had made a mistake and apologized. My trust in these salespeople and the Findlay dealership was shattered entirely at this point. I would not have allowed my credit to be run if the numbers were presented as promised over the phone. The bottom line is that I was deceived and lied to from the beginning. I will never buy from this dealership or the Findlay brand again. I hope my review helps other buyers choose a dealership with integrity and honesty and treats you with respect. Findlay Honda in Henderson, NV, will not give you these qualities. I came in for a b 12 visit which should have cost $189 with my service contract according to Findley on the west side of town. Several extra operations were suggested without looking at my car which I ag with my service contract according to Findley on the west side of town. Next time I'll just get the service and no extras unless, after servicing my car, they say they are necessary. More
