I’ve been a loyal customer of this Honda dealership for many years, and I’ve always appreciated the personal service I’ve received — especially from Deven, who consistently goes above and beyond. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a very mixed experience. When I called to schedule my annual maintenance, the new AI phone system made things extremely difficult. It misunderstood my situation, told me I needed someone to pick me up, and ultimately left me without an appointment. An hour later, Deven personally called and made sure I could still come in, which I truly appreciated. After paying nearly a thousand dollars for the service, I discovered a noise coming from under the car the very next day. It took multiple calls to get past the AI system again, which was frustrating. I brought the car back twice before the issue was finally found — a broken spark plug that had been installed during the service. Deven handled the situation professionally, provided a loaner, and made sure the repair was completed. I’m grateful for the people who still provide real customer care, but the AI phone system and the initial service mistake were disappointing. I took my car in to have the battery and tires checked because the battery had to be jumped before I could leave work the day before and the tire sensor didn't turn off. It was a Friday morning and the dealership was extremely busy. Blaine from the Service Department was courteous and friendly. He said they were happy to help but it could be as long as a two-hour wait because of the volume of people who had come in for service. I was happy to wait and he came back about 90 minutes later telling me that the battery had tested low. He explained about the price for a new battery and the warranty so that I will basically never have to pay full price for another battery. He said the tires were checked and were fine and the sensor light had been re-set. The battery was installed just a few minutes later and I left feeling like I had been given excellent service. Blaine was respectful and knowledgeable and he patiently answered my questions. This is a dealership with capable, competent, and caring staff. More

You ask for more details regarding my recent visits. I purchased a 2015 Honda CRV from CarMax in 2025. It had 16,300 miles on it. The sales manager said that I found the unicorn. I brought the car in for service every 6 months and have been very pleased with Findlay. Because of that I brought the 2015 car in to have the oil and filter changed plus whatever other service requirements were necessary. I could have taken it to CarMax for service. I specifically requested that the car be completely checked over. I spent over $1,000 just regular maintenance issues. I don't drive much (less that 2,000 miles per year) I have not needed the A/C until after I brought the car in. I turned it on and it did not work. I know checking the AC for leaks is not easy but if you would have just turned it on you would have known it did not work. I brought it back and you fixed it $500 later. I was so disappointed that after asking everything be checked that the AC had a leak and lost Freon .I hope to continue to have my car serviced at Findlay in the future and this was just a one off.
