I purchased a vehicle less than 5 days ago and When I arrived home my brother in law noticed within seconds that the tires were dry rotted (all 4) and a huge chunk missing from the side wall of one. I co arrived home my brother in law noticed within seconds that the tires were dry rotted (all 4) and a huge chunk missing from the side wall of one. I contacted the tire manufacturer to enquirer about warranty and they were covered except only for the original owner. Hankook confirmed the dry rot but could not further assist since I was second owner. I called the dealership and was told tires passed inspection. When I asked what the requirement was I was told “to hold air”. Well all tires hold air until they don’t. Putting someone in a dangerous situation to save money on replacing tires seems unacceptable and unethical. I think I should have 4 new or gently used tires should be shipped to me so that these can be replaced especially since the vehicle is “certified pre-owned” and passed a bumper to bumper inspection. It’s not as if I purchased a used vehicle as is. I purchased this with 15k miles on it and didn’t expect it to have unsafe tire that would need to immediately be replaced. I have reached out to service department since last week and again this morning and haven’t received any type of correspondence. UPDATE: beyond the dry rotted tires I later found the back air vent was completely broken but all the parts were “staged” to look correct. As soon as the back vent was touched to adjust the air all the pieces fell apart which was pretty obvious that this was known. So far the tires that I have to replace for being dry rotted and bald are well over $1000 and now I have the back air vent priced at $300 for just the parts. Also the plastic pieces to cover the car seat clips were all missing. Luckily these were only $6 a piece but the honesty and transparency of this dealership is 1/10. When I called about the tires they offered me a $400 check but never sent it because of my negative review. That’s very telling of the people you are dealing with. I suggest purchasing literally ANYWHERE else. I have spoken with an attorney but unfortunately it doesn’t seem they can be held liable so far. Still trying to figure out resolution. More

Adam, the Sales Manager at Fishers Imports was awesome during the entire process! He came out to greet my wife and I while we were looking at their cars on their back lot. I called him Saturday morning to let him know I was on my way. He had both vehicles up front and ready to go. Very impressive! Within hours I drove off in my new vehicle!
