I have read a lot of the reviews on five star and they are all mostly 5 star reviews and I believe all of them to because I have had that same Five Star experience with this dealership but what I have noticed is every single review in the last 3 years that has been posted good or bad there was a response from Five Star with the exception of mine, I posted my review on 8/19 three weeks ago and nobody has responded to it like I said every single review in the last 3 years good or bad five star has responded to it and I think the public has the right to know why they haven't, as most of you know when you post a review and it is negative it will not allow it to post for another 2 weeks reason being it gives the dealership a chance to contact you and try and rectify the situation if it is in reason, so I had a few private chats with Michael (customer relations manager) and he actually agreed with me that the tactics used to get me into the dealership were deceitful, his exact words were sometimes in the business of selling cars people will cross the line and in your case that line was crossed but unfortunately all I can do is apologize and offer to top your gas tank off with fuel for your troubles I told him I thought that was unexceptionable when he ask what can we do to make this right I said that is simple just do the right thing I was 100% honest with you guys about everything and you guys just told blatant lies just produce the offer you promised on the phone, he then said we as a business have to be fiscally responsible to our owner and customer and having said that I have nothing else to offer you, so I take that as if we can't make money off of you there's nothing else to discuss and I get that part of it that's what running a business is all about being successful and profitable but as bad as you guys screwed this up and knowingly be that unethical I would have thought you guys would have used all of your resources trying to get this worked out I mean you guys went through great lengths concocting up stories over the phone just to get me in the dealership and as I explained to you Michael I had just worked a 12 hour shift and I wouldn't have made the drive from Arlington to Carrollton in rush hour traffic if I wasn't a 100% sure that you guys were on the level, I can't speak for anyone else that has had experiences with five star because there is a huge amount of five star reviews out there but common sense tells me if you guys continue to use those types of unethical tactics that were used on me it won't take long for those 5 stars to start dwindling away. I surely hopes this helps someone, please beware of anything you're told over there nothing but lies, it is quite a bit different if you walk in off the street and have these similar tactics used because you're the one looking to buy a vehicle so it's a little expected but to be coaxed over the phone like that and then to get duked in the end. If I had to sum up my latest experience with five star in one word it would be UNETHICAL!!!!
