Disappointed, horrible customer service While traveling from out of town at the end of February we had problems with my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee not starting. Had it towed to Five Star. The While traveling from out of town at the end of February we had problems with my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee not starting. Had it towed to Five Star. The car started when we left it there, but the service department was going to check it out as the problem had occurred sporadically. The next day they called and told us that they were replacing the WIN module. My husband asked if they were certain that this was the problem, and asked if they had checked the starter. Joey, the service manager, assured him that it was. My husband asked a total of four times - are you sure this is the problem and Joey said yes. We picked up the car, paying $1100 for the work. Because of the manager's reassurance, we continued on to Alabama to visit family. We get up the following morning (Friday) and the car did NOT start again. Once again, we have the car towed - this time to Benchmark Jeep in Birmingham, AL. Benchmark went above and beyond to diagnose the problem, the mechanic even came in on his day off, Saturday, to trouble shoot. They replaced the starter and the TIPM module. The service manager called Joey and explained what they did. He also told him that we would be contacting him about a discount or some refund (at least for the additional tow) as they obviously misdiagnosed the problem. We paid Benchmark $1800, which the manager discounted because of our experience. My husband called Joey and asked that they do something to reimburse us at least a portion of the cost. Over the next week Joey kept promising and failing to call back. He also refused to provide information for my husband to contact his manager. Because of the misdiagnosis, we got home three days late, and spent an extra $1200 (including the second tow). I would never recommend FIve Star to anyone. Your service manager's customer service is horrible. More
Good overall experience! I was in need of a car for mysel and one for my daughter as well. Jimmie Johnson worked with me to find two vehicles that fit both of our needs. It was straight when I bought the truck new.. Brandon seems to be nice enough guy, but he’s not doing the one doing the work.. I’m just going to take it to Willis. Done dealing with this. More
Father and son, both Veterans insulted by salesperson. Both, my son and I visited this dealership in the hopes to buy a new Jeep (last Memorial Day weekend). The salesperson walked away from the desk when Both, my son and I visited this dealership in the hopes to buy a new Jeep (last Memorial Day weekend). The salesperson walked away from the desk when he realized he couldn't make the sale. We thought he went over to get the keys to my car - which would have been a trade. After waiting a few minutes, realizing that he would not return, my son went to the office to fetch the keys himself. My son overheard the salesperson insulting me in front of his General Manager and five or six other staff members. My son informed me about what was being said. I approached the sales person and the rest of the staff members to ask why, he said he was "offended" by something I said. When asked what was it that I had said to offend him . . . .his answer was "You people". He had already asked me what I meant by that comment when we were at his desk. I told him I was referring to people who buy things with money they don't have. That is the reason I declined his offer of financing the vehicle with them. Emails were sent to the general manage, their corporate office in Macon without any response. I finally received a call from Five Star only after I submitted a grievance with the Better Business Bureau. The answer given to the BBB is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! The blame was placed on me without an apology. Grievance still pending. . . . more to come as things progress. In the meantime any Veterans reading this (especially veterans of foreign wars) Be careful! I feel ridiculed, insulted and it keeps getting worse with every answer I get. To me this could legally be classified as false accusation, deformation of character. . . . .etc. Ed Massey. More

Found a 2014 Jeep Compass they had listed for $11,900 I went in with an approved loan from a different company which then they told me they did not ac Found a 2014 Jeep Compass they had listed for $11,900 I went in with an approved loan from a different company which then they told me they did not accept so they ran a credit app on me of course not really paying any attention when they finally came back and I seen the paper somehow they ran an app for almost $19,000 and that was including my $500 down and my trade of $1500! I was very confused on how I was trying to buy a Jeep for $11,900 and they were trying to give me a loan on said Jeep for $19,000 and when I asked for the extra money came from my salesman. Said he had no idea so I asked to speak with the sales manager and when I asked him why the price of the Jeep went up he told me that the dealership was a full profit organization and they were going to charge the most they could for said Jeep and that he didn't know that I had the listed price of $11,900! And that he could not get me approved through Chrysler Capital and that would not accept my form of financing! When I Proclaim that he couldn't get me approved because he was charging too much he said that he couldn't get me approved because I had bad credit at this point we were not speaking we had very high toned voices so there for the entire dealership heard that I had bad credit he asked me to leave and I did so as I told him he was a thief because he couldn't explain to me where all this extra money came from followed me out of the dealership yelling I'll sell you the Jeep but I can't get you approved because your credits bad and that we should not call him a thief and at the same time he still could not explain to me where the extra money was coming from and no I did not get approved through Chrysler Capital because my credit was bad I didn't get approved because he was trying to charge me almost $20,000 for a $10,000 Jeep complete scam artists and thieves I have never been so mortified in my life ! More

After getting my car appraised to trade in, I was offered lower than any other dealership I went to to look at cars...by at least three thousand dollars. Then they say they are going to work with you on price and when you show them a dealer down the road thats selling the same car online for $5,000 cheaper, they say they will buy you steak dinners etc if you come back showing you bought it at that price. I guess this dealer does not like to sell cars. I'll be back for my steak dinner with thousands of dollars in my pocket and the same car. Oh and if you're not going to buy a car that day, don't count on anything they tell you when they scheme up ways to get you to come back and buy their vehicle. Even if they write out a quote that looks decent on paper, when you ask to take it with you they say oh no you dont need it, we will do better than that when you get back. Well that was a lie, you wont see anything close to what they quoted you. Overall terrible experience and after visiting over 10 dealerships and buying multiple cars in my life, this was by far the worst experience. More
