My review: I booked my appointment about 2 weeks in advance and reserved a loaner car on line. When I dropped my car off for service I was told by my advisor that my services weren’t considered a need advance and reserved a loaner car on line. When I dropped my car off for service I was told by my advisor that my services weren’t considered a need for a loaner vehicle and I felt I was given a hard time about it. I’m sure there are many who want a loaner vehicle, but if it’s scheduled ahead of time there shouldn’t be a problem. I was aggravated because I had a few appointments that day and I needed transportation. I was finally given a vehicle after explaining what I needed. I shouldn’t have to talk about my personal business at a dealership. I’ve waited at the dealership before when I needed an oil change and it was not a problem. I didn’t need transportation that day. Last year when I had the same services booked and I requested a vehicle there was no problem. 1) why would customers of Mercedes, who pay a lot of money for a vehicle and for service be denied transportation if they need it. I always book at least 2 weeks in advance if I need transportation. 2) why would Mercedes offer this service online only to be denied when you show up for your appointment! The advisors don’t know why I need transportation. I was disappointed in the way I was treated. Usually the advisors go above & beyond. People might think because I’m a female I’m treated differently? I went and spoke with a sales agent & was thinking about maybe purchasing another vehicle, and then I thought why would I spend more money at a dealership that treats customers in that manner. In fact, I have very wealthy friends that have been buying Mercedes vehicles from Flagship for many years and they were the ones who referred me to Flagship to purchase my vehicle. I guarantee they would never be refused a vehicle if one was needed. I also have family members who’ve purchased vehicles from Flagship and they were surprised as well. I always thought Flagship was a classy and very accommodating dealership to their customers. I’m disappointed. Something obviously has changed. When I had a Jeep and dropped it off for service, I always was able to get a vehicle with no issues. I don’t know if it’s Herb Chambers corporation telling advisors not to give out vehicles or do the advisors take it upon themselves and make a decision? More
