He respected that and waited for my call. A couple days later I told him I was ready and gave home some more information. That is when he promptly responded with information about vehicles available, financing questions and other concerns I had. He was very easy to talk to, stayed in contact with me and kept me informed of the status of the car purchase. When the car was delivered to the dealer, Brian informed me and held the car a full day until I could meet him there. Marty then finished the deal by conducting a test drive, going over the financial part of the purchase and easing my mind while we waited for the deal to close. The entire experience was the best car buying experience I have ever participated in. Everyone was considerate and not pushy (like traditional car salesmen). More

I have dealt with this dealer since I bought this car new from him with one exception when GM sent me to another dealer. I was so disgusted with the attitude of the other dealer that I left before I finished from him with one exception when GM sent me to another dealer. I met Ron Rosseut when he was working nights around 2003 and was impressed, but did not work with him again until he was assigned to the day shift. I have used him as my primary service consultant ever since. Ron has a friendly outgoing way that makes me comfortable. I believe Ron goes the extra step in seeing that my experience at Folsom Lake Chev. is a positive one. I am one of those people who get very upset the minute I set foot on a car lot. In the past my experiences have been bad. The greeters act like I am stupid, will not listen to what I say, expect me to sit still while the different sales personal run roughshod over me. This also been my experience in shops and parts dept. Folsom Lake Chev. has been a breath of fresh air. It's people set a high standard. I and others whom I have talked to have come accustom to this treatment. More
On March 2, 2011, I scheduled an appointment with Ron to have a diagnostic done on my 2001 chevy camaro Z28. I brought the car in and Ron requested I leave the vehicle overnight in order to hear what the e have a diagnostic done on my 2001 chevy camaro Z28. I brought the car in and Ron requested I leave the vehicle overnight in order to hear what the engine sounded like when first started because he couldn't hear any noises coming from the engine. When I contacted him the following morning he said my engine was totaled and I needed $6,000 for a new LS1 engine. He said he could hear two rods knocking due to neglect by not having enough oil in the car. I told him 'I HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE OIL CHANGED, THAT THE ENGINE HAS NEVER KNOCKED, IN FACT, IT ONLY HAD 77,000 MILES AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. He said you will either have to pay $6,000 or $40,000 for a new car. I asked how long would I be able to drive the car, he said it could blow at any time and to leave the car with him and he will see if he could find a used engine. I became very upset stating I am disabled and on a fixed income and couldn't possibly come up with that kind of money. I decided to pick the car up. When Ron walked me back to the cashier, he told the cashier "She blew up her engine and now she wants to just take it home". I couldn't believe my ears when they brought the car to me. It was knocking so loud, there was metal scraping noises from under the car when I tried to turn the steering wheel. I asked what did they do to my engine!!! Ron didn't respond. I said I would have to have it towed, and Ron said "you might as well drive it, it can't get any worse". I would appreciate it if you could have my engine fixed/use another repairer to fix the problem within 30 days. I rely on my car for transport and apart from the inconvenience, this problem has also caused me to incur additional costs i.e. towing and rental car expenses (I have receipts). The reason for the negative ratings I have given this dealership is my deceased father bought his Silverado Truck at Folsom Chevy and he used to always have it serviced at Folsom Chevy. If he were alive, he would be so disappointed on how I've been treated and how much the professionalism, concern for the customer and the treatment of the customer's vehicles has declined. More

I was truly impressed by the professionalism, courtesy of Isaiah Patterson, David Shirley and Becky O'Leary. On my test drive Isaiah was very informative and knowledgeable about the vehicle. He answered my numerous questions with such a positive attitude, that it made me feel at ease. As a result, I was able to really concentrate on the test drive and how the vehicle was performing because I didn't feel rushed. Upon returning to the dealership, I didn't have to wait a long time to finalize the paperwork. I found that Becky O'Leary was also very informative and patient. The manner in which she processed the paperwork was impressive. She was very professional and personable at the same time. The time spent was minimal and considering this was done after work, I was very appreciative.It was so refreshing to be able to enjoy this car buying experience and I would like to personally thank Isaiah, David and Becky!!!! I will proudly recommend others to Folsom Chevrolet!!!! More
I actually called Jake with a specific truck and features in mind. Within hours he had found exactly the one I wanted and got it there the next day. Came in on a Saturday for a test drive. Staff was friendly even though it was late. Worked with Dave who was both friendly and knowledgeable. Called Monday with an offer. Dave worked with me as much as he could over the phone since I live an hour away from Folsom. We reachied an agreement! Hooray! I told him I couldn't make it down till later that evening. Even though he got off at 2 pm, he still DROVE BACK to the dealership and was waiting for us. After going over some of the paperwork with Dave, we worked with Becky O'Leary. She beamed a radiant smile that was so genuine you knew only the truth was passing through her mouth. I personally felt like she had our best interest at heart. After we finished all the legal paper work, I didn't feel like I was promising my first born. I felt happy! Even though it was around 8:30 pm Dave was STILL waiting to help get me acquianted with my new car. He even helped me set up OnStar, go over all the knobs/buttons, and took a picture with me in front of my new whip! Haha. Thank you for the amazing experience. Will definitely bring my future family business here! More
I ordered a 2011 camaro, so that's why price was N/A rated (MSRP is MSRP no matter where you go). Other than that, things went very smoothly. I felt connected throughout the entire order (thanks to gmconnects.com) and the car was delivered as promised. Overall, very well done folsom Chevy. On the other hand, this dealerrater.com is TERRIBLE! Folsom chevy would do better to make their own system. Seriously, I have to register to post what SHOULD BE an anonymous review? Just awful. My Fiance and I came in right at closing time on 2/16/11, only expecting to look at vehicle rather than go out on a full test drive. He took us for a test drive and was very personable throughout the whole process, answering our questions, telling us about himself and never once did we feel like he was a salesman. Once we got back, we went to talk numbers with Oscar. He was also very personable. He helped walk us through the numbers, worked with us on a price for the car and also my trade-in, to make sure the price worked for us. During the process, we did never felt pressured, we felt that he was being open and honest about everything he was saying. Then comes Roger, the most organized person we have ever met! Even though Roger was working well into his 15th hour of the day, he was very pleasant and happy to be working with us! Roger worked very quickly making the long contract process as short as possible, while still managing to carry on a conversation with us and getting to know us a little bit. Roger was very honest and open when presenting everything to us, which made this part of the process a breeze. All three of them were there until we left (just before midnight). The whole time we were all talking and joking, with us and with each other. The whole process was extremely pleasant for us, talked business when it was needed, and had friendly conversations the rest of the time. Since the sale, I have spoken with Roger and Jake over the phone. They called to follow up with me and make sure we got all the accessories that came with our Tahoe! People always dread car dealerships due to the "pressure" put onto customers by everyone, at Folsom Chevrolet we can actually say we were not pressured at all and had a great experience buying our new SUV!
