I called and spoke to someone from the dealership. He never called back so I bought a car in Seattle instead. Clearly they aren’t interested in selling cars. More
FOLSOM LAKE FORD will NOT win any JD POWER AWARDS and is just a cut above a "junk yard used car lot"...MAYBE!!!!! My Military spouse called and spoke to Ken. We were approved by the dealership manager to us just a cut above a "junk yard used car lot"...MAYBE!!!!! My Military spouse called and spoke to Ken. We were approved by the dealership manager to use a specific Family discount program due to his grandfather AND Uncle retiring from FORD to purchase a specific vehicle they said they currently had on the lot the day we called and went to the dealership(11/6/2021). Once we both drove our vehicles to the dealership(over 45 miles from our home in the rain), we then found out the dealership had 'dealer traded " that same vehicle the day BEFORE and it was no longer available. At this point we felt lied to and disappointed but looked at other vehicles since we were there already, which was probably their "plan" all along. The dealership low balled our 2018 and 2021 trade ins and refused to negotiate. Management was extremely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and PATRONIZING and frankly I don't know how anyone could work for or with someone who could speak so degrading to women in general. While I understand we are in a pandemic , and I understand about supply and demand I do NOT understand their BAIT AND SWITCH tactics, their LACK of good CUSTOMER SERVICE, or their LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM by MANAGEMENT namely MIKE WRIGLEY and 2 other Men in his office. Do not shop or sell at FOLSOM LAKE FORD- They don't care if you have retired from FORD, or if you serve in our MILITARY OR have a valuable trade in, they are insulting and only care about what kind of money they can extract from you!!! Tonight I called into your Ford dealer in Folsom CA. Excited about my 45th Birthday next month and the possibility of owning a Mustang GT with a manual transmission. I called ahead and spoke to the inte Excited about my 45th Birthday next month and the possibility of owning a Mustang GT with a manual transmission. I called ahead and spoke to the internet sales manager Mike D’Incecco. While on the phone with Mike he explained to me all of the different options and I explained to him exactly what I was looking for he then invited me to come down for a test drive. I agreed and I told him I’d be there by 7:30p.m. So off we went my 10 year old son and I arrived at the dealership at about 7:20p.m. I was greeted by a salesman as I walked up and I told him I was looking for the internet sales manager, ten or so minutes later I was greeted by Mike. Mike apologized for making me wait so long and said he was on the phone with a customer. He then told me he was having one of his salesmen pull out a Mustang GT 5.0 manual transmission for me and my son to test drive. He then asked me for my driver’s license so he could make a copy, I gave it to him. When he came back from making a copy he said it would just be a few minutes until the car was pulled out front. He was then called into the back office and came back to me walking slowly to tell me that his manager wouldn’t allow me to test drive the car, I laughed at first thinking this was a joke but after doing so and seeing the look on his face I could tell him wasn’t kidding. I asked him why they wouldn’t allow me to test drive the car? I told him I was a well-qualified customer, home owner, great credit etc. He went back to speak to his manager again and what he said next shocked me! He said from time to time his manager would look at the customers and decide if he would allow them to test drive the car or not and sometimes he would make one of the other salesman go with us on a test drive. I told him this was very different from what he told me on the phone and due to Covid-19 how could he suggest such a thing especially when on the phone he told me they were a family operated dealership and they weren’t charging for test drives, and due to Covid-19 we would have to go by ourselves, I guess all of that is out the window when you have the wrong skin color…..! I then proceeded to walk out the door. The truth is on the phone he didn’t know I was a Black Man! And when his sales manager saw a Black Man who wanted to test drive a sports car he wouldn’t allow it! I stopped to push back and he was scrambling to come up with an excuse then said well it was raining a little bit, I said look you don’t have to lie to me, it’s sprinkled for 2 minutes and the ground wasn’t even wet. I’m truly disappointed in this dealership, I’m disappointed in Ford for allowing this type of behaviors and discrimination to go on especially in front of my 10 year old son. Today marks a very sad day for me! Today is the day my 10 year old son who attends a Christian Private School in the area got to see how hurtful this world is, he got to see what racism and discrimination is first hand and why because I wanted to buy myself a sports car for my Birthday. Shame on your FORD! Shame on you! I plan to let the entire world know how my son and I were treated, I’ve never been treated worse in my 44 years on earth! More
Terrible sales experience I went into the dealership looking at very slow selling fiesta’s . Was told they’d match a price quote from another dealer of $15,600’. The vehicle I went into the dealership looking at very slow selling fiesta’s . Was told they’d match a price quote from another dealer of $15,600’. The vehicle has $3000.00 in ford rebates and was offered at every dealership well below msrp . Well after they tell me they’ll match the price., the contracts come out with a $15,600 sales price plus tax with the dealership taking all the rebates.. this was over $1,000 higher than the full msrp. Then they tell me they will sell to me at full msrp .. taking $1000,00 off the price. Beware deceptive practices? Liars, dishonest. They say all price quotes are after all available rebates and discounts! So they were offering me a car at $5,000 higher than the other dealership. Same exact car . Then they offered me a $1,000 lower price .. still $4,000 higher . More

Visited the dealer once but car was in the shade, so couldn't see the Highland Green color properly. On a sunny day I returned with my wife and was greeted by Matt, a sales guy. He got the vehicle pulled into the sunshine to see the paint in the sunlight and offered a test drive. The sale manager "Kentucky" came out and reiterated the test drive even though the cars were land-locked behind others, and moved the car I was most interested in to the front lot. Ended up taking a test drive with Matt and the car was fine. We didn't buy there yet as we have 2 other cars to test drive before making a decision but Matt's professionalism and Kentucky's no-xxxxxxxx sales price were great. I checked out the price we came to afterwards and it was spot on, better than most places and lowest in my area. Nice job Folsom Lake Ford, if we buy a Bullitt, we'll be back to them. More
