We pulled into Ford Country last October and were greeted by Jim Vigeant. We told him that we were looking for a late model used or new F-150. We explained that we would be towing a toy hauler trailer and that it must include a towing package. I am a sales professional myself and am not easily impressed with typical sales people. Jim, as it turns out, was able to give me a reality check. He first listened to what we needed, then was able to make some significantly different suggestions based on his experience. His product knowledge was by far the most extensive of any sales person we met during our search for this vehicle. He explained that even though the F-150 was able to pull our trailer, due to the weight of our rig, we would be happier with a diesel truck. My wife had made casual mention of our trips to the mountains of Utah and he explained that the towing ability of the Ford Super Duty Powerstroke is unsurpassed and that the long uphill climbs will feel much shorter with the stability and towing ability of a diesel. My initial reaction was that a diesel would not be affordable. When I mentioned this to Jim, he took us over to meet the Finance Manager Ed Armendariz. Ed, as it turns out, also pulls a toy hauler. Without knowing about the conversation with Jim, Ed expressed how glad he was when he went from an F-150 to his diesel. He showed us that because of the Ford Motor Credit promotional interest rates and rebates, the payments on the diesel were comparable to that of the used truck we "thought" we wanted. He showed us the benefit of the warranty/maintenance combo plan and that we could include that in our monthly payment, so we set it up along with the gap insurance. Ed was a consumate professional and made it really comfortable to commit to such a big ticket item. He clearly explained all those confusing financial and DMV documents and made sure we were comfortable with our decission before we signed on the dotted line. Brad Cambridge, the Sales Manager, was very busy on that day, but took the time to personally come over and congratulate us on our purchase. It has been a year since that day. We have been to Duck Creek about a dozen times since then and each time we climb that hill out of Cedar City, I am thankful for setting foot in Ford Country that day. We feel at home when we go to Ford Country. We are about to make our third purchase there and have sent all our friends and family in to see Jim, Ed and Brad. More

Before arriving Jose mentioned we would look at the other vehicles to make sure I found the right car. I really like this approach. The entire process flowed very smoothly and it was more like hanging out with friends looking at cars. I never felt pressured. Never felt uncomfortable or awkward and wasn't flooded with all the common sales techniques and sales psychology that makes me want to run the other direction. I had put off purchasing a car for a long time. Reason being, I was upside down on my current car and didn't have a down payment and wasn't looking forward to the typical high pressure, condescending car buying experience. Jose and Rob did and amazing job and really exceeded my expectations ... I actually enjoyed spending time with them and enjoyed the entire process. They were both passionate, explained everything in detail, answered my questions, provided a very easy to follow option of payments and followed up with a couple calls after the sale. I really appreciate their honesty, friendship, conversation and feel like everyone should have the same amazing experience I did.
