Terrible business practice. The salesman Chad Wassman told me he wouldn't haggle over a few hundred dollars, and stated that he wouldn't have a problem taking a few hundred off the listed price of 44K. told me he wouldn't haggle over a few hundred dollars, and stated that he wouldn't have a problem taking a few hundred off the listed price of 44K. After going through their financing department which tried to give me a high interest rate loan, and insisting it's the best they could do, I got a great rate from my bank. I offered 43,500 for the vehicle (a few hundred off), and he stated there was nothing they could do. Mr. Wassman is a very cold, money hungry salesman who didn't attempt to work with me at all regarding this vehicle. It's a wonder why Ford is currently struggling with plans to stop selling most passenger vehicles. Find another dealer! More
UPDATE: While at the dealership trying to get an issue with our window tint fixed our salesman Jose asked for our review to be removed because he got yelled at about it. In the past month I have purchased two vehicles at Ford of Clermont. Johnny Mac and Jose did an exceptional job as our salesmen. They listen to your needs and find you the vehicle that is perfect for you. Both deals went amazing with the exception of Ron Gasparino in finance. The first time there was an error adding warranties we didn’t want and although I verbally said I didn’t want certain extras they were included. Since our car was totaled that morning I made the mistake of moving through the signing a little too fast believing my desire for no warranties had been met although they were added to the purchase. During our second purchase a month later Ron was the only finance person available and his rude behavior and judgement of us over a simple question made us walk out of the signing and contemplate for almost an hour if we wanted to continue to purchase from a company that employs this type of person. He continued to come out and upset us with his stereotypes about what people get good deals and bad. According to Ron “nerds” are tier 1. He was very judgemental over someone not having tier 1 credit, mind you there are 5 tiers. If it wasn’t for the new manager, Yohan, that took over that day we might not have finished the purchase of the vehicle. I recommend you ask for a different finance person if you are purchasing from Ford of Clermont. Johnny Mac, Jose, and Yohan all get 5 stars but Ron Gasparino/finance gets 0 stars for a combined rating of 3 stars More

They give her $35,000 for the RV charge her full sticker price for the truck and she leaves with a new truck and $2,000 in her pocket and Clermont Ford makes all the profit. I hope no one takes advantage of their elderly mothers the same way. More

Transmission is erratic at low speeds (below 30 mph) I have a new 2019 Ford Edge (only 7,000 miles on it) and have been experiencing erratic transmission operation at slow speeds (25mph) and very slow ac I have a new 2019 Ford Edge (only 7,000 miles on it) and have been experiencing erratic transmission operation at slow speeds (25mph) and very slow acceleration. Everyday when I leave our subdivision, I have to drive 25 mph and less for about 0.5 miles. The car surges at constant speed and lags when gas is applied slightly to very slowly accelerate from slower speeds. Acts like the transmission is hunting for the right gear. Seems to be less of a problem under normal acceleration. More pronounced in the mornings. When I left the car with Ford of Clermont, the technician said he could not duplicate the problem and the computers he used indicated that all shifting was normal. How can he duplicate the driving conditions of slow constant speed (25mph) and very slow acceleration from slower speeds when the dealer property is on SR-50 where the speed limit is 45 mph? If I were going to test the vehicle to duplicate the driving conditions, I would take it to a large housing development and drive a little while at the above speeds. Maybe he did that, but I would not know because I couldn't talk to him. My son borrowed the car one morning and commented on the same problem. Said he never drove a car acting that way. I have been driving for over 50 years and never had a car act this way. Disappointed right now with the car because of this problem. Consumer reports even identified the issue of erratic operation at slow speeds in their test drives and called the new transmission "clunky." Love the car otherwise. Please fix this problem.
