I asked the guy that received my van about specific things to check on the van besides the "workout" change air filters and a sound at the motor was my priority for that visit. HE DID NOTHING. I have been a loyal customer until this last time, when I took my For Edge Titanium to change the battery which was dead and I asked to do a diagnostic for which I was charged over $200. I was told everything was fine, including the alternator, except the battery, which I instructed them to put a new one! Three hours later I called and this time I was told a completely different story! This time they said I needed an alternator, a battery and an alignment! I wanted to go pick up the car right then and there, but I was told they were closing and I had to wait until the next day to pick it up. I refused those recommended services as they were suspicious to me and I felt I was being taken! Next day I Took the car home and scheduled a diagnostic check that was very complete. The new mechanic informed me after the tests, that I DID NOT NEED AN ALTERNATOR, NOR AN ALIGNMENT!! my car has only 50 thousand miles and has always been garaged and this deceitful sales job, made me very angry and disappointed on the Ford Dealership! It made me wonder how many times I have been taken here, since I have always done all recommended services. Needless to say, I won’t be taking my car to Ford dealership and I won’t be recommending their service! More
