I recently purchased my F-150 Raptor used from Ford of Kirkland, and this was my first maintenance service since purchasing the truck. I live closer to the Lynnwood Ford dealership, but I specifically cho Kirkland, and this was my first maintenance service since purchasing the truck. I live closer to the Lynnwood Ford dealership, but I specifically chose to return to Ford of Kirkland because I bought the Raptor from them and wanted to continue having it serviced there. Since this was my first service and I wanted to start fresh with the maintenance, I decided to have the 30K service performed and have all the fluids changed. I figured having everything done at the dealership where I purchased the truck would give me peace of mind. The total came to $1,746.34 out the door, including $1,100 in labor. The entire service took about three hours, yet I was charged $1,100 in labor. I understand dealerships may use flat-rate/book labor rather than billing strictly by the hour, but that’s still a significant labor charge for a service completed in just three hours. Unfortunately, there were also some quality-control issues afterward. About 30–40 minutes after, I received a text saying the technician had found skid-plate bolts still sitting on his toolbox and that I needed to come back so they could be installed. When I called back, I was told that the technician had put one bolt on to hold the skid plate in place and then went to lunch. I completely understand that technicians are entitled to take their lunch break. What concerned me was the situation itself. It raises questions about whether the technician was interrupted in the middle of the service and forgot to finish the reassembly, or whether the service was essentially finished, one bolt was installed to hold the skid plate in place, and the remaining three bolts simply weren’t installed before he left. Either way, the truck was initially returned to me without all of the skid-plate hardware properly installed. I was understandably frustrated and explained that returning to the dealership would mean another hour of my day, plus additional gas and time, to correct a mistake that wasn’t mine. It wasn’t until after that conversation that they offered to send someone out to me to take care of it. I also noticed that the oil-life/service monitor had not been reset after the oil change. Because of the skid-plate issue and the missed oil-monitor reset, I felt uncomfortable simply assuming everything had been completed correctly and ended up checking the oil level myself. This was my first maintenance experience with Ford of Kirkland after purchasing the Raptor from them, and unfortunately it did not give me the peace of mind I was looking for. I chose them over the dealership closer to my home because I had purchased the truck there and wanted to continue doing business with them. Mistakes happen, and I’m not criticizing anyone for taking their lunch. My concern is the lack of final quality control before the truck was returned to me. When a customer pays nearly $1,750, including $1,100 in labor, I expect the vehicle to be properly reassembled and the basic service procedures to be completed correctly the first time. I hope Ford of Kirkland takes this feedback seriously, because I would have liked to continue using the dealership where I purchased my truck for future maintenance. More
Courteous and quick and price was exactly as quoted. Even had things that were on extended warranty and service handled everything. 2thumbs up! Even had things that were on extended warranty and service handled everything. 2thumbs up! More

I bought my 2023 Ranger from the big Ford dealer in the Seattle area. I took my truck to them for service one time and said never again (It was formerly Harris Ford if you can connect the dots). I was pl Seattle area. I took my truck to them for service one time and said never again (It was formerly Harris Ford if you can connect the dots). I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered Ford of Kirkland. Granted their intake process can be a little slow but they truly seem concerned about my vehicle and my experience. For me they will be 'go to" for service. More
