Honest and fair I bought a 2010 Camaro SS with 6500 miles on it. The price was well below book but the owner had tried to modify it for racing and many things were af I bought a 2010 Camaro SS with 6500 miles on it. The price was well below book but the owner had tried to modify it for racing and many things were affected negatively. Like many of us, I wasn't to avoid a dealer service department so I took it to my trusted mechanic who identified and repaired all he could. I then had it dyno-tuned and still there was an air bag light and other annoying thing that both shops told me I'd have to go to a dealer to correct. I chose Medved from ratings on this site and others. I talked to Josh and all but begged him not to take advantage of me. As you'd expect he said he wouldn't. He told me the diagnostic charge and charges for simply servicing it and checking the tire balance. Though it has few miles, I wasn't sure it had ever had the oil changed so I had them do it. He said he'd call me when they figured out what was wrong and not do anything until I approved it. He did call me, explaining everything they found and giving me the charges. He also shaved a little of the labor and I came out feeling like I'd been treated fairly and that I have a car that is in the shape you'd expect for it's age and miles. I'll still do as much as I can or with my trusted mechanic to save some money, but I will not hesitate to drive the 35 miles I have to go to use Josh and the guys at Medved is my "beast" needs special care again.
