Ryan was a tremendous salesman. However, the sales manager (money guy) never smiled or shook my hand. The man was more deceitful than anyone in my 40 years of buying cars. After coming to an agreed upon price from my salesman (Ryan), then the sales manager dropped the most ridiculous contract in front of me. A 35000 vehicle, was going to cost me 18,600 dollars of interest rate. I have excellent credit. I kept asking, and finally he owned up to an interest rate well over 7%. He had also figured in a warranty I didn't want. He said he called Toyota and they "approved" for me to buy their extra warranty. Anyway, he hands me a contract that would required 670 dollars a month for 84 months! I called him on this and he showed me some 6+ percent figures. Finally he said that Capital One would probably be the cheapest. He had already showed several banks with the ridiculous interest. When he knew I was going to leave, he clicked on Capital One and showed a 5.4 interest on this used vehicle. I knew that was right. But I asked him, "Why didn't you show me that in the first place?" He mumbled somethings that were just lies. My son was with me and he helped me catch some of what he was trying to do. Finally we got through with financing and made a note that was a hundred dollars less than the first and for shorter terms. How many elderly people, young kids just starting out, etc. that got their payment book and found out what he was trying to do? I love Ryan, the salesman, but I will never do a deal again that involves the finance guy. He, in my opinion, is a shyster and I suggest you be careful financing anything at 4 stars toyota. You could get stuck like he tried with me. 35,000 dollar car was going to cost in all, 53,600 in 84 months. I'm through. More
