Misleading Was on a business trip outside the state of OK, but I had been looking for a vehicle in the OKC area. I found the vehicle I wanted on the Fowler Dodge Was on a business trip outside the state of OK, but I had been looking for a vehicle in the OKC area. I found the vehicle I wanted on the Fowler Dodge website. Explained my situation (being out of town) let them know when I would be returning, and asked how we could get the vehicle reserved so it wouldn't get sold. Fowler Dodge asked me to fill out a credit application online which i did. I also had a trade I wanted to add to the deal so they asked for pictures/vin # in order to give me a quote for the trade. We spoke about the trade, and what I would except/what they would give me. I was then told that my credit app was approved, and everything looked good. This is the point where my frustrations started. After going through all of this I was told that they were not able to hold the vehicle, and if it was still there when I got back we could continue with the deal. At no time throughout the credit application or the talks about the trade was this issue ever brought up. If this would have been brought to my attention at the beginning I would have never filled out a credit application, and had the added hits to my credit score because I knew this vehicle probably wouldn't last. The dealership knew I was out of state, knew I was wanting to lock in the sale, and never mentioned the policy of not holding vehicle. I have since spoke with the dealership about the policy of holding the vehicle, and I fully understand the reasons they gave behind the policy. My issue is that knowing my situation that they waited until my credit had been ran we negotiated the trade-in, and then decided to tell me about this policy. I had also asked them to call me if the vehicle was sold, and they didn't do that either. I called in, and was told vehicle was sold before I returned from my trip. Very disappointed on how this all played out. Will add that I had my vehicle serviced at Fowler Dodge the week before I went on my business trip, and the service department experience was outstanding. So service department gets a 5, sales department a 1. More

This cannot just happen because of the product (vehicle) you folks sale but by the confidence that your Professional Sales Representative have to sale them. One in particular is Jaccob Rangel! Jaccob was able to understand my operational needs and as well as my constraints and concerns. He was able to recommend the type of vehicle that will meet my needs but gave me options to explore the other models and determine just what is I was looking for. Without his expertise in understanding what I needed in a vehicle and providing the different vehicles available to look at, I wouldn't be driving away with the vehicle that evening.
