I was told that fletcher dodge had found a jeep. Then no call back. After looking for a jeep for a few weeks I bought a jeep at landers dodge on 12-16-2011. They said that it was on the lot and I drove it home. I would of prefered to get it closer to home.

My Service Adviser was Sharon - on this occasion. I personally tried to talk with Brian Nicholson, Service Dept Manager, on Monday afternoon after work, but he told the cashier in the Service Dept by phone to tell me he was gone for the day. I returned on Tuesday morning to talk with him and his immediate reply to me was he only had a minute to talk with me. However, we were finally able to sit and discuss "a plan" to get my vehicle repaired after the Thanksgiving holiday. I love my Jeep and believe Jeep sells itself. In my opinion the only thing that a car dealership must do to get a customer and keep a customer is to give GOOD SERVICE. They need to communicate with their customers - it is not whether it is good news or bad news, it is the lack of communicating. A call saying "we do not have an answer yet" could have avoided this bad, bad experience. Thanks for your inquiry.

I left my car at the Service Dept on Tuesday morning with Service Adviser, Doug Hebert, for Brian Nicholson to personally test drive and see if the repair issue could be diagnosed. My experience with Doug has been outstanding in the past. Doug called me today and told me they have found what the problem is. My Jeep should be repaired and ready for pick up Friday morning. I will be interested in the cost for the repair. I was having the same problem in 2009 and 9-17-10 I paid $2,477.01-torque converter, only to have the problem continue. On 8-2-11 the dealership again repaired the torque converter under the 1 yr warranty. The problem continued and got worse. It is now diagnosed as being a different problem - EGR Valve. WOW! Hope I did not spend 2,477.01 unnecessarily.
