Salesman Daniel Stewart was helpful and informative without being pushy. All dealerships (including Fletcher)should include all charges when negotiating price, especially when it is a cash deal. Paying More

I want to start by apologizing for the miscommunication. This is not the way we handle our customers experience. Your feedback is important to me. Thank you for the opportunity to improve our dealership. As soon as I read your email, I immediately started researching the process on your experience. We hope you give us another change to earn your business in the future when you are in the market for a quality new or preowned vehicle, routine service, repairs, and parts. Fletcher Auto Group wants to be your dealership of choice. We recognize this needs to be resolved first. Please contact me directly at 417-540-9310. Sincerely, Kimberly Favazzo Patrum Director of E-Commerce

I may have been more receptive to your email had the word miscommunication not popped up... there was no miscommunication. I told them specifically: what I was interested in, that I was unsure if we qualified for a car loan, I stated the exact amount I did not want my note to be over, how much I wanted my payments to be, I also stated that we had a trade in and gave them year and model, as well as the situation with my husband. I received a phone call.. upshot.. "I think we can get you in a car." I said that was not good enough.. restated the situation with my husband and said I need to know 100%. A bit past and I received a call from shane.. saying come on. I again asked him if he was positive we qualified. he said yes.. he got the ok from Dennis. Then he said "we will get u in and out". I said ok we will be there Sat morning. He said to ask for him. I called my husband and he made the arrangements necessary to get down here. We get there, and found the blazer. A lady asked if we needed help.. we responded.. we were told to ask for shane. While we were waiting we looked at other cars but the blazer was the most accommodating and the best priced. Although the mileage was 80,000 off, and it was priced 1,000 higher than what was stated online. It was the exact same vehicle with the same military sticker on the back. But all and all it was still the best fit. Well we waited and waited, all 5 of us including my 10 month old son, for every bit of a half hour to forty five mins out in that sun. A gentleman called shane for us again. I asked this man about the price and he said.. yes we would get the internet price and then I asked him about the difference in miles and he said I read it wrong. I didn't.. and I have a copy to prove it. Finally Shane arrives.. We tell him we want the blazer and his response is no.. we can't finance that vehicle it has too high of mileage and not priced high enough for financing. OK WHAT?! For starters.. if I am understanding this correctly .. you guys have cars on your lot that you will not finance.. in turn you expect someone to walk up with 8000.00 in there pocket and buy a vehicle.. that you yourselves won't even finance bc of the miles? and 2nd.. I told him what I wanted to spend on the vehicle, which was a note no higher than 6000.00. He should have told me right there on the phone, that you guys could not do that. It would have saved all of us a bunch of #@$$. At this point I told my husband lets go.. But the fact that my husband went through everything he did.. he was not going to come down there for nothing. Shane then asks us if we checked out the rest of the vehicles.. and stated pointing out cars in the 15,000 dollar range. We told him we checked out everything he had, nothing was big enough. That is when he asked if we checked the front row.. cha ching.. 18,000. I told him there was no way.. Once again I repeated.. we want our payment 2-250 tops. He said yes. Started asking us if we wanted to test drive. I refused, my husband drove it. We then head inside and wait and wait and wait. I have 3 children mind you.. 13, 9, and a 10 month old. We were there 3 hours and then we were told no. But wait.. oh no, we are not done yet. Shane said he called the guy across the street.. and had it all set up.. He said they do in house financing.. I was was all ..Oh hell no.. those payments are going to be outrageous. He reassured us that it would be in our range. What kills me is that he said.. "you told me what the most you were willing to pay and I am not going to haggle about it.. I am not going to do that.. they have what you need across the street".. and then he couldn't get out of the room quick enough. Knowing the whole time that their payments were higher than 200-250.. How do I know this.. bc he sent his mother there.. unless that was a lie also. Which I am sure it is now. In all actuality we never even qualified for the car loan. I told my husband again.. lets go.. but as I said before..he was not going to come down there for nothing. On your salesman's advice.. we head over there for another hour.. to be told.. 380 a month. We about flipped our lid. I did thank the finance woman for being very up front. This cannot be resolved. You cannot give my husband back his time, my children back their time with their father or the money our household lost that day. My children only see their Dad.. 1 full day every 4 weeks. As I told Dennis in the email.. Gregg took off work, missed a 10hr day of overtime and lost 2 days per diem. We took a 500.00 hit, bc it was not his rotation. And since he had to jump rotation..we will not c him for 6 weeks. We were ok taking this calculated hit for a vehicle, but what was done to us, well there is no excuse. Every bit of what I wanted and the situation with my husband was told to every person I spoke with before I headed down there.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. I would not have blamed you if you hadn’t. I want you to know that you are right, I can’t fix it, but I will be passing your email on to the people that can make sure this never happens to another customer. It is through unfortunate circumstances like this that we get better and I don’t want what happened to you to happen to anybody else. I know you won’t believe me, and I don’t blame you, but we really do try to do the right thing as a company and employees. Again, I apologize for your experience and I want you to know that this feedback is very much appreciated and we will use it to get better. Best Regards, Kimberly
