We contacted Mark Becker since he was the on line sales person we used for the Pilot. He helped negotiate and close the deal. He went out of his way to help us complete what became a somewhat confusing sales process. Communications within the used car department seemed a little disjointed and did not flow as well as our new car purchase, especially with the issue of the deposit. We were paying cash for the vehicle and did not understand why we could not use the same payment/deposit process as the new car sale. It was a little disturbing, especially since we had already established that we were honest, dependable, and serious buyers. The only other negative aspect of the deal was the smell of the used car office. It has an obnoxious chemical smell that neither I nor my wife could tolerate. Other than that - a positive experience. Pre Auction Purchase I purchased a pre auction vehicle for my niece in 2/2016. The car worked for a total of 6 days before the motor went out. When I went to the dealership I told the sales person that I was getting it for my 18 year old niece to drive and she convenience me it was a great deal. It didn't help that while at the dealership several people came to look at that car. I took the car to firestone to have a inspection don't and since it wasn't nothing wrong at the time they couldn't get a reading. Even 2 days after the purchase of the car when the check engine light came on Auto Zone didn't get a clear reading. Now I was told that Breakaway wasn't responsible for the car once it left the lot but since this was a respectable dealership I though it would at least work for a beginner car. I am very disappointed in this purchase due to it being a waste of money. To repair the car was $1700 which just was not reasonable. I was told by Breakaway it was nothing they would do so it is a lost I am taking but I will never use them or send anyone to them. More

I was a little apprehensive about driving 2 hours to view the car as I have had horrible luck with internet postings recently but decided to take one more chance after talking to Charles Kelley on the phone. He went out on the lot, found the car and described every detail, scratch and scuff on the vehicle as well as the interior condition.
